First time customer here. Ali made me look and feel like a million bucks. I asked for a haircut and coloring and he easily took 20 years off me with his meticulous styling and attention to detail. Definitely looking forward to coming back to rejuvenate with Ali. Great place and great service. Even had a nice cup of Turkish Coffee and a chocolate while I was there. Highly recommend!

had an excellent experience today with Ali, a truly professional and highly skilled barber. He is respectful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. His work is fast, precise, and done with great attention to detail. Ali speaks Arabic fluently and understands very well how to work with Arab and Gulf hair styles, which makes communication smooth and comfortable. At the same time, his English is excellent, so anyone can easily communicate with him. He clearly understands different styles and preferences and delivers exactly what you ask for without any struggle. The service is complete and professional — haircut, beard shaping, blow-dry, and wash — everything is available and done perfectly. The location is also a big advantage: right in Tysons, inside a shopping area, which saves a lot of time. You can get your haircut and enjoy shopping at the same place without making multiple trips. This is especially convenient if you have family or kids. I genuinely recommend this barber shop and Ali in particular. Wishing the management continued success and excellence.

This was my first time ever getting a haircut, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ali Barber at United Barber in Tyson was professional, patient, and really took the time to make sure everything was right. He explained what he was doing, made me feel comfortable, and the service was top-tier from start to finish. The haircut came out great, and the overall vibe was welcoming and clean. Easily a 5-star experience — I’ll definitely be coming back.

When in for a hair cut. Told the barber I was new to the area. He the proceed to tell me a hair cut is $80 dollars. I told him I would pay. He then start asking about paying cash and how much I would tip. Very shady place. Told me he was the owner. Very shady place. Stay away. He was insisting paying cash or cash up. When I said no he ask to zelle his wife Maria flores. I have his number and receipt to prove the transaction

I am a regular customer, the reason I come here is the service is awesome I never had any problem with them. I know they are the best in the area and may be for that reason there could be wrong reviews about their pricing but they would never charge 80 which is false information. I recommend without any hesitation.

Khalil A. took me right away as a walk in, and was super friendly. He gave me one of the best and most professional haircuts I’ve had in a while & checked in throughout to ensure I was liking how the haircut was going. Super happy with the whole experience and will certainly be returning! Thanks Khalil for a great cut

Ben cut my hair opposite of how I asked, and I kept reminding him throughout. Also, without asking, he took me back to shampoo and wash the hair, which cost more. In the end, it was $45 or so for a horrible haircut that was on par or worse than what youd get at a great clips, probably in part due to the poor communication abilities / language barrier. Also, the guy with the arm in a bandage told me it'd be 10 minutes and kept disappearing and looking at himself in the mirror as opposed to providing updates. I waited 40 minutes Saturday morning when there was only 1 person in front of me. This is just such a garbage barbershop for the price. Poor quality, poor communication, poor wait. Really, nothing going for it.

United Barber is truly top-notch! The barbers here are incredibly talented and detail-oriented, and every cut always comes out looking sharp. I highly recommend Ali- he’s nothing short of AMAZING!! Another thing that sets them apart is their patience and care — even with toddlers who aren’t always easy in the chair. They handle my 2.5 year old with kindness and professionalism. On top of that, the whole team is consistently welcoming and friendly, making every visit a great experience. My family travels 45 minutes (one way) for my husband and son to get their haircuts. There’s simply nobody in the Fort Washington area that can compare. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a barber with skilled hands. Thanks again, Ali! You deserve 6 stars, not 5.

Great place for a haircut, in the new renovated location and affordable prices. You gotta come have a look! You will find very interesting personalities, one for your hairstyle! Ana is the best for a woman haircut. Be careful not to cross to the working area if you are a companion or waiting customer, coz they will ask you to wait at the reception couch, I’ll decided to wait outside. Not very friendly!

As of this date, April 24, United Barber has relocated from their original spot in the mall by the Peloton store to the exterior side of the mall by the American Girl store, where they will remain for the next 2-3 months while renovations are underway. Super professional barbers and hairstylists - you basically can’t go wrong with any of the barbers in the store.
