50 year old mother asked for her head to be shaved down nothing more or less. Their response was, we don’t Know how to cut Black people’s hair even though all you have to do is put a one or two guard on the clippers and just shave it down disgusting

Kim is a local treasure, as the numerous glowing reviews confirm. I'm shocked by the few negative and disrespectful 1-star reviews that appear on this site, which likely manifest something completely unrelated to Kim's wonderful ability to consistently execute what her client ask of her. She pays attention to detail and is an artist. We're lucky to have her in our area.

Worth the drive. Solid straight shave, cream and hot towel. Thank you! Cuts African American hair. Listens to feedback. Provides cold water when done. Restroom onsite. Clean and quiet. Everything I want in a barber and nothing less.

Very meticulous. Pride in their work. End result is very clean and professional. But with any artist, the exacting client must be specific in their direction/vision. Any poor reviews here are undeserving and their less than perfect outcomes are a result of failure to communicate. Bring a photo of you with your desired haircut and they will deliver 100%.

Drove from Rockville Maryland and work in Virginia now. Amazing experience. Perfect haircut and even gave massage after. Kim is kind. I will come back here more often. She even provided a water bottle because it was so hot outside. 5/5 first time experience. Highly recommend.

This is a traditional barbershop. All the crew is very very professional and the way they treat their customers is very warm and kind. They will have a complimentary massage to the neck, head, and backbone gives us a lot of relaxation after the haircut. It’s worth it to have a haircut at this location.

Six stars, if possible. This place is like a step back in time, and I mean that in the best possible way, like when I went to the barber 50 years ago. The minute you walk in, you are shocked at how immaculately clean the place is. But the best is yet to come. I was lucky enough to have the young man take care of me. He gave me the best haircut I have ever had. He was a perfectionist who took his time transforming a mound of wavy and stiff silvery hair into a thing of beauty. And then you get the straight razor and foamy cream treatment on your neck and sideburns, followed by a steamy cloth over your face while your temples are massaged. Then finally, the two minute massage of your upper back. It was an absolutely delightful experience, and it only costs $18.00. I may live in Round Hill, but I'll be getting my hair cut here from now on.

Kim was my barber in another shop and was fantastic. She had a line up of faithful customers so terrific was she. Made the other shop jealous, and so she opened her own, her customers following her. Tailored cuts include free neck massage. I'm in my 70's and is the best barber - many states, many countries - I've ever had. You have one haircut from Kim, and you will not go elsewhere. Great haircut and friendly service!! Kim gave me one of the best haircut's I've ever had! She listened very carefully to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. She uses a straight razor for the sideburns and back of the next and gives a neck/shoulder massage afterward. Prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend her services.

I am very impressed. I have never enjoyed a haircut before in my life. The staff is very respectful and friendly. Very well experienced and take their time in giving you the best hair cut experience ever. The place is new and very clean. They do an excellent job at keeping it tidy. You will also get an amazing neck, shoulder and head massage. A hot steamy towel for the face. Overall I love this place for experience, cleanliness, and great job at cutting my hair. All of this and the price is excellent. Highly recommend it. First time ever I feel like I can't wait till I my hair grow back and I go back there.
