I came here because of “fair prices”. I was in complete disbelief when I found out they charge $50 for just a simple taper and beard lineup. I will never ever come to this place again and I do not suggest it. I can say the guy Denzel is a very positive likable person and has good conversation. Other than that this place is completely out of pocket for their prices. I wish I had known the price prior to getting the cut!!

I gave this place a try after seeing many positive reviews. My barber was Denzel, and he gave me an OKAY haircut. He wasn’t really attentive, didn’t pay much attention to even out my top, and didn’t use a razor or anything to clean up my beard edges and sides. He drenched me with so much water I had never experienced at any other barbershop. I felt rushed, and the barber didn’t look eager and serious about his job. For a $40 haircut, I expected more compared to other places. I don't think I will return.

I called the shop and got an appointment the same day, which was good. Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience unlike what a lot of the reviews say. Denzel was very rough with his buzzers, pushing very hard into my scalp and skin. It was quite uncomfortable, and I even left with several cuts and puncture marks on my neck. He didn't acknowledge it or apologize for it, but ignored it and tried to play it off. My hair cut was pretty good at the end of the day, but I can't say I enjoyed the experience at all, and I would expect a barber to know how to cut hair without cutting skin as well.

Hands down one of the best bald fade cuts I received last evening, Friday April 7, 2023 from Janier. Every time I sit into that barber chair, I always know the type of haircut I will be leaving with after Janier cuts it. He is the best—a very talented barber, amazing customer service, and always makes his customers leave feeling very happy. This is the reason why I enjoy coming to Janier’s Barbershop. No better barber than him. He deserves 10-stars never mind 5-stars. If you’re in the Watertown area looking for that amazing haircut, shave etc. Drop into Janier’s Barbershop. A very welcoming barbershop.

He's very passionate, friendly, family oriented and professional. I come here EVERY WEEK and I love my haircut. His partner Denzel, is such a great asset too the shop, his energy, welcoming attitude and work ethic has greatly helped the shop in many ways. His shop is lovely and a great asset to the Town & People Of Watertown. I love it here!!!

Janier has been cutting my hair for the past 3 years since I moved to Watertown. By far the best haircut I've had in the Boston area. Janier is thoughtful about his approach to each haircut. It's clear that cutting hair is his craft and that he takes it very seriously. The shop itself is also a comfortable place to be. The online booking makes the process seamless. I've recommended his shop to friends who have had great experiences as well. Highly recommend.

I have been getting my haircut with Janier for a long time and I have never had a bad experience with him. He's the best at what he does and that why he's the only one I trust with my hair. Great costumer services 👌. I highly recommend him. Whenever he's busy and has a few person ahead of me he always let me know. I drive all the way from that's how great he is.

Janier barbershop was a great experience. Friendly, convenient, superb customer service and a pleasure to do business with. Haircut was on point, appointment was made and on time and great work from the barber. Janier has earned my business moving forward. Great place 10 stars if I could, clean place, great atmosphere. One stop shop.

Janier is awesome, it's not often you can say a barber is quick, highly qualified and affordable. This guy is the real deal, it was my first time today and will be a repeat customer going forward, very impressed! Gave me exactly what I wanted and for half the price a lot of these upity trendy barbers charge around the city. I'm usually a picky guy and his fades are spot on perfection.Definitely check him out, I did and I wish I had sooner!

Janier is an amazing barber. While I was going to school in the area, I came here every month to get a haircut. Always consistent, amazing fades from a personable/friendly guy. Do not hesitate to stop by and get a cut here, all the barbers are solid and good prices!
