I’ve lived in Watertown for a few years and driven by millions of times, but today I stopped in for a last-minute haircut with no appointment. Galloway was ready right away and happy to help. The cut was quick, clean, and exactly what I needed. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve tried this place multiple times, and I’ve gotten consistent haircuts at a reasonable price. You can tell the barbers are professional and pay attention to details. They also have positive energy. The only downside is that you have to call them to book an appointment. I wish they would use an app like Booksy.

Someone recommended that I give A Barber shop a shot, well I am so glad I did! I now have an AWESOME Barber only 10 minutes away. John is an excellent barber who clearly had a lot of experience and quickly adapted to how I wanted and needed my haircut. The other barber Breedo( forgive me for the spelling)seems like a very nice guy. Awesome barber shop, 5 stars!! Also it’s a nice gesture to stamp your card and the 10th cut is free!

I’ve been going to A barber Shop for almost 8 years now. Brito and his colleagues are professional and very respectful. Brito and John are my guys - always make me look great and provide friendly conversation. The shop is busy so I would definitely recommend calling ahead to make an appointment, but it’s busy because it’s worth it. Give it a shot - I don’t think you’ll be disappointed

I called A Barbershop to get an appointment after missing mine at my usual place which had no other openings for the next two weeks. I called on a Wednesday and Brito at A Barbershop was able to fit me in that coming Friday. As he had never cut my hair before, Brito made sure to ask questions on exactly how I preferred it to look and took the time to show me all sides of my head with the mirrors. All in all it was a great haircut and I would suggest this barbershop to anyone! As a bonus, they will stamp their business card every time you get a haircut and after nine stamps, your next haircut is on the house!

Look no further! I have been looking for a good barbershop around Watertown for a long time now, after trying a bunch before this I finally found the one. This place is a classic and professional barbershop. John did an excellent job with my hair, and is a super nice guy. Make sure to call and make an appointment, all 3 of the barbers book up quick.

Place is hopping. Tried to do a walk in, had to schedule an appointment but only an hour and a half later. Live close by, so it worked for me. Recommend calling first! Galloway was my barber. Dude knew what he was doing. All 4 barbers there were friendly and took care of everyone. They got a deal where you can get your 10th cut free. Galloway took his time and said I wasn't leaving until I was happy and looking fresh. Gave me exactly what I asked for. The razor shave was short and sweet, they were very busy. Will be going back.

I started going here about 3-4 years ago and even when I moved out of the Allston area, I still kept coming back. Fantastic customer service, all 3 barbers are very personable and respectful. I go to John, but I know many friends use Handsome and Brito and are very happy with their haircuts. Recommend setting up appointments, walk-ins take a back seat to any appointment so you could be waiting a while.

Good place and open late which is awesome. Thankfully the barbers won't chat you up too much if you don't want to talk. No need to make the chair a confessional. The haircut I got was great. What I saw which was good too is them offering their expertise to some of the customers saying "you know what we could do..." and they guys ended up looking good taking the advice.
