I’m proud to be Ryan’s 100th review. He is an exceptional barber who is always kind and interested in the lives of his clients. His determination to provide great service for the cheapest price I’ve found is also astounding. I very highly recommend him.

Ryan is a good barber, but is too independent. I have experienced three times this year (2025) when I have driven in from Battle Ground only to find the shop closed, sometimes with a note in the window explaining why-other times no explanation. I discussed with Brian posting an electric notice as a courtesy but he didn’t seem too concerned or interested in customer communication.

Great barber shop! Ryan is a wonderful barber and a great guy to talk to. In my opinion, he is the most reasonable priced barber in the area. Highly recommended!

Took my son The Barbershop after he had a botched haircut elsewhere, and Ryan did an amazing job fixing it. He was patient, great with my son, and made sure he left with a haircut that looked fantastic. This barbershop is no-frills—they stick to the basics and focus on real craftsmanship, which is exactly what you want in a barber. The prices are fair, and the quality of work is top-notch. If you’re looking for a skilled, reliable barber who’s great with kids, I highly recommend Ryan!

Found this shop through Google Search and I'm glad I went. The barber / owner (Ryan) greeted me as soon as I walked through the door which was awesome, the waiting area was fairly full with mostly former military personnel and the atmosphere was jovial and welcoming. I enjoyed sitting and swapping stories with the old-timers on a host of topics and listening to Ryan share his wealth of knowledge and stories on so many topics, it honestly reminded me of many of the barbers I would visit when I was still in the Corps. The haircut was phenomenal, Ryan understood all the military haircut lingo, he handled the clippers like a seasoned pro (which he is) and I walked out looking good and feeling like I was ready to take on the world again !! I do solemnly recommend this shop for not only the quality of service but also for the nostalgic atmosphere and the opportunity to just let the worries of the world go by the wayside if only for a brief moment in time.

As a business owner and a craftsman I deeply appreciate watching someone who is a master of their craft. Someone comfortable in their skin, while being concise and graceful in their movements. I recognize it way the old soldiers recognize each other in crowded rooms or chess masters know each other after just a few moves. As I sat and watched him work, I knew immediately that here was a man who knew what he was about. And then without effort, he included me in the conversation, knew instantly that I was new, and made me feel welcome. An expert in his craft. Well I’m sorry to have lost my old barber. These relationships are sacred. We’re old men, how many people do we let touch our aging heads anyway? We want someone who knows what the heck they’re doing! Don’t want to get your hearing aids snipped by mistake, or your fierce bushy eyebrows toned down too much. So a good solid barber is worth their weight in Gold! And they’re worth a little loyalty once you’ve found them! Best haircut I’ve had in years!

Enjoyed our 1st visit with my 6 year old today 8/19/23. My son was super happy with his new do and asked if we could go back to your shop from now on. He really enjoyed the experience. Thank you Ryan for being a true gentleman and being great at what you do.

Absolutely amazingly kind and wise family I enjoyed learning and conversation with the owner and they’re very good people. The quality cut was very good and exact precision. If you want a quality cut without the corporate and flashy stuff just old fashioned quality from a barber with 30 years of experience take a walk in here. It was a very pleasant experience.
Owner's response
Thank you, Joshua, for your kind words.

Been getting haircuts from Dale and Ryan for the past three years. If you want a quality haircut by a great business for a reasonable price this is the place to go. Before my wedding they had me come in a couple days before for a free touch up, and looked great for the big day. Somehow they've kept track of family member's names and have great relationships with every customer I see at their shop. One thing to keep in mind is they do cash or check only, so be prepared for that.

My 3 year old was very nervous about haircuts after Daddy messed it up. These guys were calm and made the little guy feel at home. He went in nervous and left with a smile. $15 cash only, but service is amazing.
