Always a great haircut, and always on time. Super easy to schedule online, and you can pay by card which is convenient too. I’d recommend to anyone!

Let me start off how rude the lady and this guy was to my 16 year old that went to get a haircut.First off my son rode his bike past there shop the other day cause they have a sign up saying A-1Cutz.So my son calls them and asks if he can make an appointment they say yes but you have to do it on line.So he makes an appointment with a $15 down payment online.The day comes and he rides his bike to the barbershop and realizes they weren’t there I guess they moved.He calls them and says he’s not going to make it cause he didn’t know they moved he’s on his bike.He asked if he could get a refund the lady said no it was 8 minutes away you could’ve got here.then my son asked can at least setup another appointment to get a haircut the guy says no your money is gone.You have to setup another appointment.Like what kinda person says that to a kid?And it was an honest mistake obviously they still have the sign up at the other place.I would never do that to someone that made an honest mistake.Bad business if you ask me. I guess you just earned a $15 1-star bad review.Responding to his reply.First off I don’t need to lie.Second my son did explain the circumstances and the lady and you both were jerks to my 16 year old son and third you are lieing through your teeth my son was right on time if not 5 minutes early.He asked you to reschedule and you said nope that money gone!!!So stop it.You sound ridiculous.At the end of the day you took my 16 year old son’s money and said peace.So whoever reading this,this is the honest truth he’s talking nonsense.Trying to justify his horrible business interactions with my son.

This is absolutely a lie on our barbershop. First of all we have been moved from our old location for 3 months now. Second of all no one new that they were talking to a 16yr old child over the phone. Our address is on our website, and you also got the address when you booked your appointment in your confirmation. So because you made a mistake and didn’t explain the circumstances over the phone is not our fault. On my website it says we moved with all the info. Also, the appointment was at 4:30. I didn’t get a call from anyone until 5:10 saying they missed the appointment because they went to the wrong location. If you got to that old location at your appointment time then you should have called at that time to explain what happen. But waiting 40 minutes later to call is not how that works. My policy is on my website just like any other info. Anyone over 15 minutes late will be canceled. That’s my policy. You can’t call 40 minutes late to complain about your mistake. And then make it seem like it’s our fault because you didn’t get the answer you were looking for. So making a review like this and saying the things in this review that you never said to us over the phone is a unfair review. It’s only bad business when things don’t work in your favor. But the circumstances were clearly never explained.

Love this place. I brought my son here who is a bit agoraphobic, but they made him feel comfortable. That is why we followed them to their new location. Appreciate you.

My son been getting his hair cut from A1 since he was in 1st grade (He’s in 6th now) the names says it all. A1 service, A1 work, A1 shop.

The barber hooked me up with an amazing mid drop fade that had me feeling great. The customer service was on point too, they really took the time to understand my hair type (4c)and gave me exactly what I wanted. I walked out feeling like a million bucks. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in need of a haircut!

After months of searching for a good hairstylist in the Portland area, I decided to try a barber in Vancouver and I'm so glad I did. Yesterday, I had my first appointment with Dee (Dorsey) and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. He was professional, respectful and friendly. I showed him a photo of the style that I wanted (High-Top Fade) and he did exactly what I requested. The atmosphere in the salon was very nice with a cool background music. Booking with Booksy was very easy. Definitely coming back again!

Walked in on a weekday, was lucky to have Dorsey sit me down right away. He listened and executed exactly what I asked for. He spent a lot of time and you could tell he cared about the details. There are cheaper places in town but this is no frills, all about giving a professional cut, without the fluff, and you will get what you pay for! It seems like they get a lot of walk ins so I would suggest calling in to schedule. Thanks A1 and shoutout to Dorsey for keeping me fresh n’ clean!

I went to this spot about 3 weeks ago and my hair line is still recovering. I made an appointment online thinking the owner would cut my hair. When I got there he assigned his apprentice to me. The apprentice was super nice and patient and wanted to do his best, but it just wasn’t it. I should’ve known better because he seemed pretty nervous when I sat in his chair. When he washed my hair he didn’t even touch the back of my head. He cut so much hair out of my hairline to create a box effect, but now my hairline is pushed back. I was in Vancouver on a business trip, but if that were a local spot I would be asking for a refund.

Good if you need quick cut. The young barber needs more work with detail clean up.all lining areas tailor each face the same. Don't let me take your liners and give myself a better lining than you. Good location, good attitudes, I'll just be extra specific next time.

Took my son here for his 1st professional haircut only to realize he might be too young. After arriving Antoine was great and agreed to cut my 2 year olds hair and did an amazing job. Clean fade, lined up right, and kept the top curly like we wanted. Very nice guy and complimented my son on how well he did in the chair for his age! Recommend for sure!
