I discovered this place near me several haircuts back, and have consistently received cuts that garner spontaneous comments by others about what a good haircut I have. Plus the conversation has always been fun and the environment makes me feel at home with cool music-related art.

Firstly, I couldn't make heads nor tails of the stylist's commentary on Absinthe. But, then as I left the salon, there was a police car parked close by my vehicle. I had only been in for a short appointment, but left a huge tip anyway, as I am a supporter. I also resent police brutality in all its forms!!..........

Wonderfully chill vibes! Made my 7 year old very comfortable, talked him through his concerns. Windy did a great job fixing my son’s “self haircut hack job”. His hair looks great. I was happy with the attention to detail she had. Highly recommend!!

Raven’s been cutting my hair for over a year, and I couldn’t be happier. Not only is she masterful with a pair of scissors, she’s always fun to chat with. And the cut is a reasonable price as well. Windy’s rad too. Scheduling is easy and flexible. Once I asked to come back in after a cut to take out a little more length and I wasn’t charged for the touch up.

I had a wonderful experience at Windy’s. Windy listened to what I wanted and gave me a professional and meticulous cut. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great conversationalist during the session. She also gave me some useful tips on how to style and maintain my hair at home. I highly recommend Windy’s to anyone looking for a great haircut. Also, I loved her dogs very much!

Windy gives the best haircuts which is why I have been a client for the past 8+ years. She always takes the appropriate time on your hair and I look forward to the good conversations with her and the others in the shop. When she was out for a surgery, she made sure to gave the other barber detailed notes/pics for my specific haircut. The cuts are always the best and which is why I continue to visit the shop even from West Seattle. I definitely recommend her and her staff!

Windy is absolutely THE BEST. I came in for my first haircut since the pandemic, so I was crazy nervous. But as soon as I was in the chair, she made me feel right at home. Windy is super skilled at dealing with hair that's cowlick-y, growth-pattern swirly, and just all around difficult in a way that most barbers can't handle or don't pay attention to. Added bonuses? Cute shop dogs! And the conversation is hilarious and fun -- not just the usual small talk like you are forced to make with your great auntie at family events. Finally, it seems like an understatement to call this place LGBTQ friendly, so come all ye queerdos for the best haircut you can get!

I've been going to Windy's Barber Lounge for over a year now and it's my home away from home. Great haircuts, really friendly staff, just a really awesome atmosphere. There is always a fun conversation going whenever I get there and the haircuts are always top notch. Windy, Virginia and Holly are all super knowledgeable and true masters of their craft. Next time you need a haircut, I highly recommend you give them a call to get on their calendar, you'll be glad you did!
