Don’t be fooled by the name, they’ll cut any hair: white, asian, hispanic, not just afro. T gets me right every time in about 20 minutes, not much talking, but that’s not why you’re here, you’re here to get a great cut. I’ve been to many barber shops over the years and none come close. Try to walk in during the early afternoon for shorter wait times.

They did not treat all customers the same, even though we all pay the same. For others, the haircut was done carefully and with respect, but for me it was done very quickly and without proper care

Took my son there for a child’s hair cut (he’s gone through a growth spurt so he’s fairly tall now) after seeing their web page with prices. Barber stated after cut I needed cash and to get it from the next-door ATM, but when I arrived, the ATM was down for a bit. The barber did not want to wait and attempted for me to use his broken cash app. I told him I did not mind waiting and I would pay for the child cut the barber thenargued that my son was an adult and would have to pay the adult price while turning his back on me wanting to argue. One of the other barbers stepped in and asked how old my son was and that I could just pay him through his cash app. The customer service of a simple greeting was lack luster hair cut great. They don’t tell you that you have to pay cash and that the prices have increased.

I was coming to this place for about two years because of how good they cut hair, however, their service hasn’t been the best towards me and I mean that towards the barbers nothing to do with the ladies. I read these positive reviews and cannot help but NOT relate and I’ve been going there for two years, I’ve never done anything wrong to yall. I was a paying customer and felt like I was never treated like one. Anyways, I’d give yall ONE star but because you do well with the haircuts I give you two. Blessings to your business.

Barber "T" does such a fantastic job on my son's cuts. I took my 7 year old son there last night for a cut and T knocked it out of the park. We had not been there in awhile and the space was more streamlined and open than previous, giving a classy look. His prices are affordable, the space is cozy and friendly, other customers are always polite. I feel safe and comfortable as typically the only woman waiting in the barber section. I will for sure be bringing my son back to see T for his next cut. The pics are before and after from last night.

Afro Barbershop is fantastic! The hair braids are always on point. I came with my sister, and we’re never disappointed. Merry and Kulani always do a great job. The place is super clean, and the crew is friendly and welcoming. They also do amazing braids, twists, and locs. I highly recommend everyone to go over there—you won’t be disappointed!

I was hesitant to come here as some of the reviews indicated the crew would be slightly hostile and unwelcoming. Initially over the phone and when I first had gone in it did slightly come off that way but after a short period of time I realized the crew isn’t extremely talkative. The barber was super nice when he did talk to me and the haircut turned out great. I go to barbers to get haircuts not talk so I will definitely be coming back as these guys did a great job!

A great African barbershop on the Shoreline/Seattle border. They prefer walkins, but it's never too busy, usually 4 or 5 people but they cut pretty fast. Very skilled barbers. Cuts are only $35 which is amazing in 2023. Highly recommended!
