Received a haircut from Miguel, my session was "cut short" (literally) when I asked Miguel to fix the bad hair cut ...apparently my "time was up" since I had booked a Time Saver. I hated my hair for the next 3 weeks. Ruined a event I had to attend. Would not return.

I have been coming to Miguel for years, he has always done the best work and will continue to come to him when I need the best haircut. I always get the low taper fade and he does it the best. I would recommend anyone to come to him for all work. He is the best.

I first walked into their Kirkland location at Park Place nearly 17 years ago, not knowing what to expect. By sheer luck, I was paired with one of their Master Barbers. Back then, I didn’t even realize there were different levels of expertise in the trade. That first experience opened my eyes — and I’ve been a loyal client ever since. Their signature straight razor shave is like stepping into a cinematic moment — think Rounders, but with hot towels and zero stress. The ritual begins with a reclined chair and a warm towel draped gently over your eyes. What follows is a series of soothing pre-shave treatments, each one sealed in with another steaming towel. I’ve lost count of how many rounds there are — not because they’re forgettable, but because I’m always too relaxed to keep track. One detail I’ve always appreciated: the way they change the eye towel. Instead of a jarring switch, the barber layers the new towel over the old and flips it, easing you into the next phase without ever breaking the calm. Then comes the shave itself — a precise, almost meditative process. You’re guided to turn your head gently from side to side as the blade glides across your skin. When done right, you barely feel a thing. A second pass with a multi-blade razor ensures a flawless finish. I always recommend booking with a Master Barber — they’re listed on the website — but even among them, technique varies. At the Redmond location, I see Brittney, and she has the lightest, most skilled touch of anyone I’ve ever been to. She’s been my go-to for over a decade, and I can’t say enough about the care and consistency she brings to every appointment. Beyond the chair, each Weldon location offers a welcoming lounge with plush seating, a TV usually tuned to the game, and a complimentary beverage while you wait. It’s a small luxury that feels like a big deal — and one I look forward to every time. One small note for taller clients: the chairs can feel a bit small if you're over 6 feet tall. At 6'2", it takes me a moment to settle in comfortably. That said, Brittney always goes out of her way to make sure I'm well accommodated — just another example of the thoughtful service that keeps me coming back.

UPDATE: The absolute best customer service I've ever had. After posting the review, the Leslie from the shop reached out to me and offered to make it right. She got me in with the regional trainer, Axle, who got me looking much better than before. I've got a lot of respect for them for getting me in and helping me out. I really don't want to be writing this review, but I feel like I have a responsibility to share. The lady who cut my hair was super sweet and I really wish her the best, but she definitely messed up my beard and there's almost no fade in my haircut. The experience itself was great, but I'm not very happy with the end result.
