Haircut Customer Beware I decided to try a new barbershop after moving to the area, and Marion’s shop seemed like a solid choice. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. My appointment was at 10:00am, and since I’m not familiar with the area, I arrived at 10:05. As soon as I walked in, the barber (who I assumed was Marion) asked, “What can I help you with?” I said I needed a haircut, and he responded, “Do you have an appointment?” I said that I had one at 10:00, and he said, “You HAD an appointment.” I was confused — being five minutes late hardly seemed like a deal-breaker. He then mentioned, “My 10:30 is already here,” which was odd considering that person was 25 minutes early. Overall, the interaction showed poor customer service, especially toward someone trying the shop for the first time. I wanted to give a new place a chance, but this experience made it an easy decision not to return. He may be talented with a pair of clippers, but haircutting skills isn’t the only thing that matters in the haircutting industry.

Ryan, I appreciate your feedback. I would appreciate it more if you provided all of the information. Yes you had a 10am appointment and yes you were late without calling. You were closer to 10 minutes late vs 5 and yes my 1030 was already out front waiting. Would you suggest i inconvenience him and push his scheduled appointment back in order to care for your needs? Thats not how life works brother. I also offered you my next available appointment which was noon. But take this lesson with you. Some people have enough integrity and respect for their clients and there time, that they will never inconvenience one because of the actions of another.

I scheduled an appointment for the next day, arrived a bit early and he was able to fit me in because the slot before me was running behind. First time being to a true barber shop, so I was a bit underprepared for the questions, but he nailed what I was going for. Great conversation, helped me feel comfortable, and the results speak for themselves!

Roger at Marion's is top notch. His shop is clean and on point. The environment is warm and inviting. Roger works alone and works almost every day of the week. He is dedicated his life to making Snohomish county residents look their best. Roger cuts hair on appointment only basis but is easily accessible through Google or his website. Being that he's open almost every day of the week it's hard not to catch him when you need him. Roger's barbering is fantastic, quick to ask how I'm doing and what's been going on with genuine empathy. He takes his time and it shows through the final product. Being that Roger is a career Barber he's able to cut every type of hair on every type of head. Highly recommend and affordable. 40 bucks gets it done! Thanks Roger, see you in a couple of weeks!

Just had a shave here for the first time. Roger was professional and did a great job! Very happy with the service and I'll be coming back. Environment was chill and relaxing, and the confidence with what he's doing is reassuring.

My 11yr old son likes his hair a certain way and is very picky. With that being said, we had a few bad experiences at other places around town. Marion’s is right down the street from us so thought we give it a try. First impression with Rodger was great, love the vibe of his shop too. Rodger takes his time and doesn’t rush. My son is happy and feels confident going to school with a nice fresh quality cut. And most importantly, his mother is happy too. My son has found his go-to spot. Thanks Rodger!

Roger is running one of the best barber shops I’ve ever had my haircut at. He’s a good man to chat with and he’s an absolute perfectionist! Sharp haircuts and warm lather straight razor shave... GOODBYE COVID MULLET!!

I love this place! I have been going here for almost three years now. Roger is my go to guy, however I have had all three people cut my hair. They are all great at what they do. Highly recommend.
