Joel is an excellent barber. He’s friendly, skilled, and consistently delivers a great cut. I always leave feeling taken care of, and the experience is relaxed and professional every time. Highly recommend Joel at Armstrong’s Barber Co.

I grew my hair out for about a year just to see how I'd like it and it was just not for me, and after moving to the area recently and dealing with the heat/sweat from all that, I was ready to get it chopped. I was able to book here at Armstrong's with Joel and am so incredibly impressed with the cut and how he intuitively took care of my hair!! Joel stated that he is at his 1-year anniversary as a barber but he cuts hair like he's been doing it his whole life and I couldn't be more impressed with my cut! With little direction other than, "a skin fade, and about 5 or so inches on the top," he left ample hair in the front to style w/my curly bangs, was able to properly cut around a scar to keep it covered, and made my cow-lick easy for me to manage; all things I forgot to mention as it's been so long since my last haircut. It was wonderfully done and looks amazing, certainly one of, if not the best haircut I've gotten in the past 10 or so years! The vibe was awesome, you can tell that both Joel and the other barber, Corbin, are great people and are easy to communicate with! I have autism and typically have trouble with small talk, but it was easy to feel included in the conversations that happened between everyone! I feel confident saying that this place is neurodivergent friendly!! This place is a rare find and I will happily be back!

This was not just the greatest hair cut I've ever had buy also the best experience! I'm normally nervous going in to get a haircut and the person made me feel not just comfortable but worked with me when asking what haircut I wanted as I know none of the terms. If you're in the area and haven't gone here yet do yourself a favor and pop in!!!!

Just had the best haircut of my life with Joel at this gem of a barbershop. From the moment I walked in, the place hit with class. The atmosphere is rich with vintage charm, like a slice of the past perfectly preserved. Joel was not only skilled but meticulous, treating every detail like it mattered. You’re not just getting a haircut here, you’re getting an experience. If you’re after quality, style, and a spot with real character, this is it. 10/10. Appreciate the cut and chatting Joel! Never have I felt so classy in my entire life.

The best barbershop in Everett. The little things like the old school chairs and hot foam shave really make it special. You definitely get what you pay for and more.

The place is themed out in a 50's barber shop motif done perfectly. My family now comes here exclusively because we know it will be a consistently great cut, regardless of whether Jason or Corbin does it. You do have to book appointments a couple weeks out because there are only 2 of them and they do amazing work, but I promise it's worth the wait. For anyone wondering, they are very queer-friendly and affirming.

Jason and Corbin are great. Always get compliments after getting my haircut from them. It's a small 2 seat Barber shop and they are always busy, so best to book online ahead of time.

The single best barber around. Genuine old school vibes, expert cuts. Jason knows how to cut and you won't leave without being satisfied. Highly recommend, I won't go anywhere else as long as he's available!

This was easily the best haircut I’ve ever had! Jason is awesome, and a true artist! It’s clear that this is more than just a profession for him, and it shows! He’s very personable, professional, and can’t wait to share his knowledge with whoever is sitting in his chair! Not only did he do a fantastic job on my hair, he used his vision to give me a truly unique look that I hadn’t even thought could work for me, then taught me more about how to style it than any past barbers ever have! On top of all this his shop exudes cool with its old world tattoo parlor vibe! Do yourself a favor and go get your haircut by Jason!
