**UPDATE 2/19/26** This excellent shop is still open, still excellent, still unbeatable in quality. Cash only, and I just hand Kay a $20. Go get your haircut today. You won't regret it. ‐--------- (Original review) Old school *service* at entirely too cheap of a price. She is worth double the asking price and I prove it by tipping her the same amount as the hair cut. Where else are you going to get a straight razor treatment AND a neck massage? I doubt there is anyone in a hundred miles of this location that can match the service and price. Got get your hair cut. Shoot, get all of your hairs cut! :)

Kay is very good and inexpensive, and she uses a straight razor blade to line you up, I've been going there for over eight years now, I moved to Puyallup but I will still be going to her

Update: I've come here several times now. I love the attention to detail. I appreciate her warm, kind, friendly attitude, and my favorite part is the neck and shoulder rub when my fresh cut is finished. Always a professional job at extremely cheap prices. Go check her out, NOW!!! This was my second time coming here. She did a fantastic job! She was extremely friendly and welcoming when I walked through the door. This shop is very clean and orderly, which I like. She takes her time during the haircut and doesn't make me feel rushed. At the end of the haircut, she gives a very calming neck rub and shoulder rub. Thank you so much. I'll definitely be back. Oh, and lastly the price was ridiculously cheap! $18

I've been living in thus area for a while and only went to major retail salon to get haircuts. It is such a relief to get a real barber that knows what they are doing! Kay takes great care of me and has definitely earned herself a loyal customer. When it come a to a good haircut, attention to detail goes a long way. Getting a shave from a straight razor vs clippers at a salon looks and feels better and lasts longer. Every time I've been there I've left not only looking much better but also feeling better. Update: I've started bringing my son here now. He is now 3 years old and loves it. Prefers coming here over the actual kids haircut places that have airplanes and cars that he sits in which says a lot

Kay is very friendly & very experienced! The experience is what I’ve been looking for in a barber since mine of six years moved out of state. Her pricing is very reasonable as well! Too reasonable in fact for the service she provides. Kay provides a comfortable experience! She knew exactly what I wanted out of a haircut, where most have failed that I’ve been trying recently. Glad I found her!

Kay is wonderful! She uses a straight razor for the neck and sideburns and will trim your eyebrows on request. Afterward you get a aftershave neck rub all for under 20 dollars! Support local people. What a gem.

I am not from this area. Having said that, I needed a haircut for an interview the following day. The owner fit me in immediately. She cut my hair with a skill I have never seen before. Not to mention, she cleaned up my goatee, eyebrows, and my neck with a straight razor. I currently live in a different state, and I would be willing to drive back, (5 hour drive), to have hair cut my her again. Yes, it was that good. Dean

Kay did a fantastic job. I had read the reviews, so I wanted to try it out. Same experience as others mentioned. She's very good, and she helped me figure out a better hair style for myself. Very affordable, and deserving of a nice tip!

Take my husband here, she's quick, and talented, never messed up his hair but did cut it a little too short a few times, but that's fine cause it's just hair. 5 stars all around for her and her business, 10 dollars you cant beat. We tip her every time. I think it could use a little more decor and updating though.

Can't beat the price and the attention to detail!! Kay does trim you neck with a straight razor and has a soap lather dispenser. She does scrub your hair several times to make sure she gets all the random long hairs. It's a good experience and really for the price it cannot be beat. I used to go to the chain places and always left feeling disappointed. For half the price and a better haircut, it's a good deal.
