The Authentic Barbershop attached to the UnSafeway in Auburn off of A street was a fantastic gem that I discovered today. As long as one understands a few things: 1) This is not CostCutters or GreatClips. There is no 20 minute in-and-out for 20 bucks going on at this establishment- nor is that their business model. 2) The level of individual care and meticulous attention to detail was beyond comparison. Never in my life have I had such a barber shop experience. The final results blew me away. 3) It helps if comprendas español. My barber knew as much English as I did Spanish but we got along great. We understood each other enough for her to deliver the best haircut of my entire life. Final charge was $45 sin propina (without tip). Nora was well worth 25%. Now I’m looking smelling like a million bucks; pretty good for a gringo.

Love this place, Jacob is now my main. His attention to detail was on point. You can tell he really cares if you look good or not. I have not trusted a barber 100% in a long time. He's the real deal.

Jake always does an amazing job cutting my husbands hair. I’ve honestly never worried what his hair is going to look like after every cut. When I go in sometimes to explain a new look that I’m thinking of to try he’s always super nice and listens to what I’m saying, and makes my husbands hair look better than what I envision. If he thinks something won’t work for my husbands head/ face shape he’s upfront and honest about it. We love Jake, I’m always recommending them to my girlfriends, and our guy friends. He is $45 for the hair cut before tip.

S/o Jacob aka 8k Fadez ; if I could rate higher than 5 stars I would . An amazing experience ; early for the appt & had someone before me & when it comes to the cut the photos speak for themself . Amazing attention to detail & constantly asking questions to make sure he’s tailoring and giving you the cut you want! Booking process through Booksy was very easy as well & provided multiple options to pay. Don’t sleep on 8k ; dude is committed to the game and it shows !

1st time been looking for a new barber since moving into the area and came in for a clean up with a mid taper at the sides and back. met Antonio here and he did an amazing job taking care of me. Will be back and will recommend. Whole place was chill glad to find some place like this close to home that I’ll be coming back to regularly.

Jacob is the man. Great energy from the moment you sit in the chair, friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. He really takes his time and pays attention to detail. The haircut and beard cleanup came out sharp and exactly what I wanted. You can tell he takes pride in his work. Highly recommend!

First time visiting, was blown away by the hospitality & kindness as soon as you walk in. Oscar was an amazing barber, super attentive to detail and took his time with my kiddo who’s only 4. He’s absolutely amazing at what he does! Everyone there was super nice and the environment itself got my son comfortable & got the cleanest cut! Thank you Oscar! Glad we found a barber that’s close by our house finally! 🙌🏾

Took my son here twice now. Joey did an amazing job! Especially for my son's first hair cut . Great atmosphere and location will definitely be making this my go to barber shop recommend anyone to go here!

I've been to this shop three times now twice she myself once because I I'm brought someone else to get trimmed here. Oscar is top notch. He has great attention to detail and to be honest the other cuts I've seen come through when I'm there have looked great too. I would attempt to set up an appointment but even on the weekends they have enough barbers to handle most arrivals it seems. They have 12 seats and a bright environment, very chill.
