This place is super hit and miss. It’s taken a nose dive lately seemingly due to staffing issues. I've had a few good cuts, but just as many really bad ones. The last visit was my last. The lady seemed new, and she had absolutely no idea what she was doing. I politely asked her to stop and left.

First time stopping by. Lina did my hair, I showed her the photo. She was quick, did a great job. No issues at all. She even asked if I'd like eye brows trimmed. Great job, I am happy.

Not an inherently bad place to get a haircut, but at times I feel like they didn't quite understand how I wanted my hair to be cut

I should not mention this comment but still just FYI i wanna bring this back.. She did the decent hair cut but after i pay her 20 +2 for tips she told me on my face "too back just 2 dollars not good" what do you mean? Is giving a top is a part of service or please mention on price cards its 20 for cut+ minimum 5$ tips or more

I have been coming to this barbershop since it opened in 1976! It and the Post Office are I believe the only two original businesses still here. It has changed hands a few times but the haircuts have always remained very well done! I highly recommend this shop for great hair cuts! It is right in Springfield VA close to the town center. Right next to the post office Come give them a try.

We usually go to the male barber, but he was off today. We saw a young girl for my sons cut, he's pretty picky and likes his hair long.. but I just wanted to get the sideburns and a little off the neck. I explained this to her, but she still took a lot off... my son didn't want to make a big deal of it.. but he was sad his hair was so short. I figured it'll grow back, but did let her know it was too short as she was going, but she continued. Went to pay.. usually they charge $18 for kids cuts.. she charged me extra, I asked why and she said because she had to cut so much hair as his hair was long 😑... ma'am.. I asked you NOT to cut so much off.. literally just wanted the sideburns shorter, front kept the same, and a tiny bit from the back.. she completely changed his hair.. I paid her and left. 3 stars is actually because the guy does an amazing job.. if it was solely based on today it would be 2 stars. Smh please listen to your customers.

Friendly staff. They do a pretty good job cutting hair. Price is reasonable. It is slowly getting expensive. If you want a value cut you may be able to use coupons in big brand chain. Come here for value and supporting local business not for price.
