I loved my experience, the lady who cut my hair did a nice job with hair. I asked for a taper fade above the eyebrows and above the ears and she basically just gave my what i had before just shorter. And she didn't talk to me alot and just got it done.

I called last minute to request an appointment with Tony, and he was able to quickly accommodate my son despite his busy schedule. He was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. My son felt comfortable, and his haircut turned out great! I highly recommend Tony as a barber. He truly set the bar high.

My go to place for a haircut. All barbers are good. No need to be picky. Just sit down and tell them what you want.

I’ve been going here off and on for years with my son and now we’ll NEVER go back. My son tried explaining to Sonny several times what he wanted and he kept dismissing everything he was trying to say and ended up butchering his hair. He kept saying to my son,, “I know my job…”every time my son tried to stop him and correct him. I didn’t realize how bad this impacted my son until he cried all the way home. There’s better barbers in the area, save yourself the misery and go elsewhere.

I’ve been coming here regularly and always have a great experience. The team is professional, friendly, and really takes the time to make sure you leave happy with your cut. I also love that you can book appointments by phone - it makes it so easy to skip the line and get right in. Highly recommend if you’re looking for consistent quality and a welcoming atmosphere!

Asked for my son to have a No.2 fade, leaving some length on top.. and they gave him this awful grandad haircut! (1st photo) - I tried to reason politely but they insisted (after they’d cut it) that they could not cut his hair as I had asked because he has a cowlick and it would stick up.. It makes no sense as to why they couldn’t taper the back and sides as he has had with other barbers and hairdressers for his entire life! This was our second visit and our second disappointment. They don’t listen to what you want and then they get argumentative when you ask for improvements. We’ve since gone to Lee’s Reston Barbershop (near Home Depot) and they cut his hair perfectly exactly how we requested it - no arguments or excuses about a cowlick (2nd and 3rd photos).

Very unorganized setting. Waiting system is very random. They don’t offer appointment but you can walk in and wait. They will pick a customer based on they like.

Tony is the only barber I’ve found in Reston that can properly cut African American hair. My son’s hairline is always perfect, his fade looks good and he still has his side burns. I could go over to Herndon but I want to support the city I actually live in, plus NP Barbers charges the right price for a child cut. Go see Tony if you have kinky hair and need a great cut!
