For me to have a random day of trying to find a barber. I think this is the shop to be. Definitely did me justice with good vibes, laughter, and good conversation that I won't forget. I will be coming back soon no questions asked. But seriously y'all the laid back in the chair I could only think of was the color purple when she was shaving his beard lol..

Kevin is always quick to answer the phone for his customers & he takes walk-ins with pleasure but prefers appointments. If you are of an old school mentality, Kevin is your ace barber. He treats his customers with care with their specific barber needs while uniquely interacting one on one with all of his customers. He is excellent and creative as a professional barber. The environment in the shop is uplifting, pleasant & customers walk out smiling!

My Mom was referred to Kevin by a friend. She showed him a picture of the cut she wanted. He asked questions about the cut and to get a clear understanding of what she wanted. He executed her request with "EXPERTISE" and good conversation. Needless to say this is the best haircut she's had in years and he has gained a new customer. Thank you for putting a smile on her face.

(Please read , this is a long review) Beware of this place I never thought i would’ve had to write a review before for a barbershop. If you are looking to get a haircut here, be absolutely sure when booking an appointment here that you will be able to make it to your appointment, as per their policy they will still 100% charge you, and that’s understandable, but also be-careful because they will try to charge you twice. On May 2nd, 2025, my sibling had booked an appointment with Avery Johnson, my mother was taking him and unfortunately were we live, the main route we take is 242 , well the bridge had been closed off due to someone that had committed suicide , my brother had notified this man that he would be late due to heavy traffic and no way to turn around or find a different route, as well a heavy storm had rolled in which had my mother pull over to the side of the road as she could not see while she drove. Unfortunately they missed the appointment, my brother explained this to avery johnson, which im sure he knew of the closure as it was all over the news. Understandable they still had to pay for the booking, but this man tried to charge for the tipping twice, it may of had been an accident on his part ok cool. The next day my brother rebooked, my brother had notified and apologized to avery johnson that they may be late again a few minutes due to heavy traffic. This man tried telling my brother, a minor , to leave earlier as if he assumed he could drive but no, he’s barely in high school. and both of my parents are very busy with work so of course thats not possible. What really upset me is that this man tried talking to my brother like he’s a grown man and in an unprofessional and unthoughtful way, besides that, he tried to charge them twice for the tip on friday, though no services where given . When asking for a refund he tried to make a smart remark by saying “ you wont be tipping me twice” when he knew he shouldnt of tried to even ask for the second tip on friday when the appointment was missed. And just so you know yes we still paid him fully for the book for friday, and as well for saturday. He tried to really scam my younger brother who’s barely in high school for money My point is, this man is unprofessional, and im sure he would scam and rip you off the moment he has a chance, he will not care of your situation if youre running late, he will try to rip you off. Like i said if you do go here, beware, make sure you dont miss the appointment and make damn sure he doesnt try to charge you twice. im sure any of the other barbers wouldn’t of done the same or im not sure. one thing is for sure this place wont be getting me or my family’s business anymore, shady practices here.I hope you take my review into consideration before you get any services from this place.

I was at this barber shop on Saturday 04/12/2025. The tall guy who gave me a business card by name Kevin gave me a $40 hair cut which was terrible. My hair was cut uneven, and everything was done so unprofessional. I will never return here again. No wonder why every time I go there, he is always seating down without a customer. BEWARE TERRIBLE HAIRCUT!

My son received a fantastic haircut from Mr. Avery. Every time he goes, he comes back a little bit wiser because Mr. Avery doesn’t just cut his hair, he gives him life lessons too to me. When a child doesn’t have a whole lot of positive male role models around, knowing that he has a barber who has a great work ethic is valuable!

Went today for the first time. 8/03/2023 I asked for a number 2 mid fade and an inch off the top. I’m just gonna tell it how it is, KJ cut my hair and honestly has no experience with long Hispanic hair. I ended up with no fade and it was much shorter and not a number two. The guy is a nice guy but I wouldn’t recommend you going there if you have long straight hair like us Hispanics. Also he has a heavy hand with the clippers, those clippers were loud and were pulling my hair. I had to mention that to him because it was hurting! $30 for a hair cut I didn’t ask for or like for that matter. Not going back do your research.

Great vibe and very professional, J has cut mine and my sons hair for awhile now and I am pleased with his performance. We moved to the area 2 years ago and tried many barbers and none of the can compare to the quality work of J. FYI, I am Hispanic and my sons is mixed, so that says a lot about his talent. Thank you J for being a great barber, keeping going young man.

KJ is the best barber I have ever had. I have received haircuts from Kevin for the last two years and my hair only gets better. Highly recommended!
