I’ve been there several times for my son but the last time I went only the female barber was available. I was too trusting and she messed my son’s hairline up. She pushed his hairline way too far back and now I have to wait 3 months for his hair to grow back hopefully back to normal. I asked for a taper fade with a line up - was charged $25 and she gave him a full fade and pushed his hairline too far back. I’m not sure why they would let her cut my son’s hair. I’m so upset everyday we have to look at it. I handled the situation gracefully but I will never go back there again

We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We deeply regret what happened with your son’s haircut and understand your frustration. We value the trust you placed in us during previous visits, and we are truly sorry we did not meet that standard this time. If you are open to speaking with us, we would like the opportunity to address this matter privately and take the necessary steps to ensure it does not happen again.
Call or text 936-827-6946
With your name please.

Luis was great. Tip is to go on the slower days Monday-Thursday they take their time I was there for 1.25 hours and comes out great. Great price most places now charge 60 but I came out for a man’s beard, haircut, eye brows for 45. Pretty good.

Went for a last min cut and Mr Luis got to work on my hair. Absolutely recommend his service which comes with a face and shoulder massage! Skilled with machines and also uses shears like a champ 👍

If you're looking to go from zero to hero, Dominguez Barbershop is the place to be. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism and a welcoming vibe that felt like a family reunion—if your family were expert barbers. I told my guy what I wanted, and like a scene straight out of Hollywood, he sat me in the chair and transformed me. By the time I stood up, I felt like I had just landed the role of Tony Stark in Iron Man 1. Every detail was handled with precision—hard part? Nailed it. Clean squared back? No hesitation. Beard trimmed and framed like the Mark V? Say less. The shop itself is spotless, friendly, and full of good energy—the kind of place that could host a town hall and a fresh fade session at the same time. Quick, clean, and downright legendary—Dominguez Barbershop is where I’ll be coming back every time. Shoutout to Luis Castro for the clean-up.

I went in and had my hair cut by Tony. He was alright but should've told me he couldn't do what I asked for. The cut was terrible. He messed up my hairline and the length was visibly uneven. At first I wasn't going to say anything and take the L but even after a shower it still was so obviously terrible I had to go back and ask for a refund. The manager that helped me was nice but one of the owners got defensive and said I had an attitude just because I asked for the manager.

I made a 1pm appt for my son to get his haircut before his birthday. Arrived at 1255, waited until 2pm and was never seen. I couldn't wait any longer as I didn't expect to have to carve our 3+hrs of my day for a SCHEDULED cut. It looked like everyone did a good job but we wpuldnt know as we were not seen by the barber we scheduled with and no one else even offered to step up even though several were free and just kicking it outside. I guess you have to know someone to be seen.

Didn’t have an appointment this time because the barber I tried for my son before was not there. I walked in and the first barber on the left didn’t have a client. As he tried to shift my son over to other barbers, I’m listening to their conversation in Spanish. Apparently, he has a client that’s on his way and he told the other barbers that he’s not going to mess up a client’s appointment to do some kid's hair (mind you, my son is 4 and only needed a shape-up). He said to have a seat, and that as soon as the next barber is done, he’ll cut my son's hair. 15 minutes later his client arrives. About another 10 minutes later, the first chair on the right finished and was just standing there. Some person walks in, and he quickly tells the guy (in Spanish) to sit in his chair. Apparently, the client that walked in had to do his rounds of hellos first. The barber then proceeds to walk out of the barber shop and my husband asks him if he can cut my son’s hair. He asked the first barber to translate to me that he has someone next and then he has some kids after. I told him that I understood him and the first barber told me not to worry that they would cut my son's hair. We just walked out. No, my son is not a problem client. He enjoys getting a fresh shape-up and he sits still. I don’t know if they assumed he would be a problem or if they just didn’t want to cut his hair. I’m Dominican, originally from NYC. My husband went a couple of times because I insisted he give them a try. I know Dominican barbers, and they are the best in their trade (or so I thought). I was so thrilled to have found a Dominican barbershop on this side of town. My husband wasn’t impressed with their service and lack of respect for non-Spanish-speaking customers. I take pride in the talents of Dominican barbers and hair stylists, but this place and the service were a complete embarrassment to Dominicans and the trait. I’m sure if my husband or I would’ve walked in there with the “k lo k” lingo, the treatment, and the services would’ve been different. So disappointed.

We took our son who is 12 and this is what he had to say. “ I like the set up it’s nice, my hair cut is fresh! “ They’re open on Sunday and you can book online.

This is a hidden gem. The staff is very professional and friendly. It’s a great atmosphere and they’re open on Sundays. I would highly recommend this place and it’s my all time go to for a fresh haircut.
