Great place to get a fresh cut! Good vibes and good music always playing makes the whole experience even better! I hardly know what I want to do with my hair but Shanels expertise always pulls my cut together perfectly!

I came in early around 10am today . I showed my barber a picture of how I like my haircut ( Alex ) it did an amazing cut. Alex listen to what I wanted in a haircut and was right on it..very polite and easy to talked to. I will be coming back soon. Thanks.

Highly recommend, the whole shop is cleaned and maintenced, the staff is very nice! My 9 yr old refuses to let anyone but Shanel touch his hair now. She spends time talking to him and getting to know him. My husband comes here as well. Shanel is amazing and gets both my boys right!! If you need a new, reliable barber who listens to what you want - go see her!

Best barbershop in North Richland Hills! It’s very clean and stylish and it’s like you’re walking into a luxury lounge instead of a barbershop. I see Brandon and he is awesome. Very attentive and understands your vision of what you want your hair to look like. Very gentle and he cuts hair with a passion. I keep going to him because he makes every cut feel like a true experience! Also he teaches you about your hair and how to style it the way that you want and how to take the best care of it, best barber hands down in NRH! Thank you man for all that you do….will definitely say I have found my long time barber.

I Gave VUB a try a couple months back and it’s now my go to spot. Normally book an appointment with Shanel. She always gets me lookin phenomenal! Most recently, I did a walk in and jon knew exactly what he was doing. Got me lookin right! Overall 10/10 experience. Very talented and down to earth individuals. If you’ve been looking for a spot that doesn’t miss, VUB is that place.

Hands down, the best barber around. My 12 year old is all about the drip. We’ve tried many places but I guarantee, we won’t be going anywhere else. Shantel is the GOAT!

Modern Barbershop is a clean, modern spot with five chairs and a well-organized check-in system. If you have an appointment, they’ll get you checked in quickly, and if not, they’re happy to take walk-ins. I came in early and didn’t have to wait at all. When I tried booking online, the two barbers I wanted weren’t available at my preferred times, so I decided to just walk in. They’re open 7 days a week, which is a big plus. Josh was my barber for a haircut and beard trim. He was friendly, easy to chat with, and delivered exactly the cut I asked for. I couldn’t be happier with the result. They even offer free drinks for first-time customers (though it was a little too early in the day for me to take them up on it). Prices are on the higher side, so I’d recommend checking online before going, and parking is a little off to the side with a short walk. Still, overall a great experience and I’d definitely come back.

The best haircut experience I've ever had! walked in with hair past my shoulders and walked out with the best fade I have ever seen Shop is super clean and has a dope vibe to it, free drinks, plenty of tvs to watch if you gotta wait Brandon gave me exactly what I wanted and has me looking and feeling better than ever, im definitely a new lifetime customer I don't care if you live 5 hours away, this is where you should be getting you hair & beard done period

My boys have been looking for a new barber for a minute, they've driven 40 min to theirs for the last year. They finally tried Vigorous Underdogs Barbershop and they are SOLD!!! Shanel was excellent, a true artist. Razor sharp lines and perfect fades! I could ask for nothing more. She was engaging and genuine. Their cuts look amazing. The shop was clean and had everything needed for a self care day for my gents. Booking was seamless. If you have been looking for a new barber please go try them out! You will be happy you did!

If you are looking for a new barber to get you right stop now! - Top tier - 5 star - professional barber. Best in the DFW area hands down. Good Conversation, Clean Cuts, Great with children and products for purchase. Shop has TVs, videos games, and adult drinks for while you wait. The shop owner Shanel was amazing to work with and we will not be going anywhere else. Thank you for your time we cannot wait to see your business grow 😊
