Don’t go her unless you want your hair completely ruined. My husband had long curly hair and wanted an undercut, and Melissa completely ruined it. She took way too much off, way more than asked, and then made it completely crooked. Now he has to cut all of his hair off to fix it. 0/0 - what a disaster.

My husband went in there and got the worst haircut he's ever had. Fortunately his hair grows fast and we won't have to endure it for long. Went in there with a nice head full of hair, asked for a LOW fade and trim on top, came out with a freaking high and tight, buzzed hair all the way up, barely any hair on top. Pitiful.

I had a very disappointing experience at Floyd’s 99 Barbershop. I was left waiting for over an hour and 20 minutes, which is completely unacceptable. What made it even more frustrating was seeing multiple employees sitting around while I was still waiting. It didn’t seem like there was any urgency or concern for customers who had been there a long time. To make matters worse, I watched few people who came in after me get taken ahead of me without any explanation. There was no communication, no apology, and no effort to acknowledge the delay. It felt very unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. I understand that businesses can get busy, but customer service and organization should still be a priority. If there’s going to be a long wait, customers should at least be informed honestly and treated fairly. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning. I hope management takes steps to improve their scheduling, communication, and overall customer service.

I’ve been coming here for years now and always walk out satisfied. I have a bad habit of doing walk ins most of the time but despite having several different barbers, they are always great. Today I had Melissa and it was the best experience in a while even with how great my other trips were. We had a great conversation the entire time and the cut was on point. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Dalton has cut my hair twice now and done great both times. I would say it’s a simple bob, but it rarely gets cut the way I want, so for me to say it has been great twice is meaningful.

Jaime is super sweet & a phenomenal stylist! Her fade work is exceptional & I’ll be coming back to have her do my hair as long as she works there! 4 stars only because prices are pretty high, but can’t help that.

Absolutely no customer service—at this location or across the company as a whole. After multiple issues over time, this visit sealed the deal: I won’t be back. I scheduled an appointment for a specific time for a reason, not so a walk-in could take my spot while I sat in the waiting room. When I approached the front desk to ask if my appointment had been double-booked, I was met with blank stares—no explanation, no accountability, and no attempt to help. Employees simply walked away, as if my presence was the problem. If there is management here, it’s either absent or ineffective, which may explain the chaos. What’s unfortunate is that Dalton actually did a great job cutting my hair on a previous visit—the only time my haircut at Floyd’s was done correctly. However, when asked why a walk-in was taken ahead of a scheduled appointment, his response was a shrug, as though it were no big deal. For customers who value their time, it is a big deal. Disappointing all around.

I will never go anywhere else! R Jay is so talented! It's incredible, he can look at a picture I show him of the cuts I want my son to get and he can ALWAYS create them perfectly. He's such an artist! Always friendly, super understanding when we couldn't make an appt, and so kind to my son! Give that guy a raise!!

I’ve been going to Floyd’s 99 several times and usually get the Basic cut, but I’ve noticed some inconsistency with the fades. Some visits the cut comes out great, neat, and exactly what I wanted, but other times it’s uneven and doesn’t really look like a fade at all. The barbers are friendly and the shop is clean and professional, so it’s not a bad experience overall, but the inconsistency makes it hard to fully trust that I’ll get the same quality every time. I hope they work on making the Basic cut more consistent, because when it’s done well, it’s solid.

I brought my son in for a haircut, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Our stylist Devanny was absolutely amazing she was patient, professional, and made my son feel completely at ease. The haircut turned out perfect clean, stylish, and exactly what we wanted. (He asked for a fade) She really has a great eye for detail and clearly loves what she does. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and friendly hairstylist!
