What an experience super awesome location friendly staff very clean and they really take care of you. Mae was my barber/stylist and she was fantastic nice and easy going explained everything good banter awesome haircut and got pampered for 45 minutes to an hour highly recommend this place. Definitely book with Mae.

Jessie has been doing an amazing job for my high tight skin fade!! I highly recommend this barbershop and suggest getting the membership. The staff is friendly, the haircuts are great, and you get a free drink when you come in.

Sauce did my Son’s hair cut today! As soon as my son got off the chair, he looked at me and said “ momma, you need to tip him real good! He did real good on my hair”. My son was looking so handsome. Not only is he a great barber, he has a great personality. Customer service was top notch! We will definitely be going back. Syn gave my other son a haircut and he came out looking so fly! My son showed him a picture of the style he wanted and Syn delivered exactly what was in the picture, that takes real skill!. My son was so proud of his look! he walked out of the barber chair with so much confidence. My son actually insisted on going to Syn because he had heard about his talent from a friend. Even though his schedule was tight, Syn still went out of his way to accommodate him. His customer service is truly top-notch! Bazooka is simply the best barber shop to be in!

I am a first time customer to Bazooka Charlie's Barber Co. in McKinney; visited today as a walk-in guest and received services by an older gentleman, cannot recall him providing his name however in looking at the staff members online, it appears to be the asst. manager. I wanted the Alpha, however he said he would only have time to provide a haircut. I ended up paying $55 for a haircut and neck razor shave. According to the website, that service is $45. As I was leaving, he told me that I should book online so they can provide me with all of the services that I would like. I still left a 38% tip because he did do a great job on the cut however I feel that I should have only paid for the service I received. Not certain if I will come back. Response to owners response below: I appreciate the reply, but I want to clarify that my review was not about the barber’s skill—I specifically said I was happy with the cut and tipped accordingly. The issue is the lack of communication and customer service throughout the visit. Your staff did not explain the pricing difference, did not clarify what service I was being charged for, and did not communicate that walk‑ins are difficult to accommodate on weekends. If your shop is too busy to support walk‑ins during peak times, that should be clearly posted and communicated before a guest is seated. Guests should never have to guess what they’re being charged for or why certain services aren’t available. Your response also implies that my review was unfair or retaliatory, which is concerning. Feedback from customers—especially first‑time customers—should be taken seriously, not dismissed. Ultimately, customers keep your business running, and ensuring they feel informed and valued should be a priority. Have a nice day!

We're sorry that you were dissatisfied, but we're glad that your barber did a great job on your cut.<br><br>We are happy to provide service without an appointment as long as our service providers have availability. Our shop is very busy, especially on weekends, so we unfortunately are not able to accommodate every client that walks in without an appointment. The only barber available when you came in only had a small amount of time before his next appointment. We cannot delay an appointment for a client in order to accommodate a client that does not have an appointment, so your barber provided the service which could be completed within the available time. We would be happy to provide you with your preferred service, but we strongly recommend booking an appointment in order to ensure that you are able to receive the preferred service.<br><br>We're sorry that that the pricing wasn't clear to you, but you received a Charlie Skin Fade which is clearly listed on our website (and in-store) for $54 which is the amount that you paid.<br><br>The barber that provided your service is not an assistant manager. He is a talented professional with decades of experience. He provided a great cut to you for the correct price in the time available just so he could take care of you, and you gave him a one-star review.

One of my 14 year old twins wanted to get a perm on his wolf cut hair. We searched for the right person to do his perm and we found her here! We saw Mayra’s reviews and we were excited to make the appointment. It came out better than he expected! She knew exactly what he wanted. Thank you Mayra, he had a great experience!

Was my first experience coming in and was pleasantly surprised that they offer 1 free complementary drink, alcoholic and non alcoholic. The environment was clean and has a theme of military focus, but the staff was relaxed and friendly. I randomly chose Syn and was pleased with the amount of effort and detail given to the fade of my haircut and can see that everyone there is fairly skilled in their craft. Initially was a bit pricey but if you choose to go with a monthly membership it greatly reduced the cost which is what I went with. I plan to go back and try each person 1 to see who my right fit maybe, but I'm confident each person will use great care to making you look your best.

I’ve been seeing Jessie for a little over 6 years now, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. She is incredibly consistent, talented, and always pays attention to the details. Every cut is exactly what I ask for, and somehow she still finds a way to make it even better. Jessie makes you feel comfortable the moment you sit in her chair, and it’s obvious she truly cares about her clients. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and it shows every single time. I always leave feeling confident and fresh. We had a great experience at this barbershop! This was my 5-year-old son’s second visit, and Moe was absolutely amazing. He does a fantastic job with kids’ haircuts and always makes sure everything looks clean and neat. My son feels comfortable, and the haircut turns out great every time. The staff is very kind and welcoming, scheduling an appointment online is easy, and the location is convenient. We’re very happy with the service and will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!
