Stopped by for the first time in a couple of years and wow what a difference! The place has had a full facelift from the ground up, literally (new floor and a freshly painted ceiling). It was great to see that for the most part, the staff is still the same. Excited to be back!

The Gents Place is always a great experience. The atmosphere is clean, professional, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and really takes their time to make sure everything looks perfect. My sons haircut came out exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend!

Kass is the absolute best! I look forward to my haircuts! Kass somehow takes my vague descriptions (“uh… shorter but not too short?”) and turns them into a perfect cut every time. The whole atmosphere there is great—everyone’s super friendly, and they never make me feel bad about my elite skill of constantly rescheduling appointments. If you want a great haircut, good vibes, and a stylist who can work magic even when you show up half-awake, late, or even lost. Kass at The Gents Place is your go-to.

Worst haircut I have ever received in my life. I got my haircut with Jerrell. I had extremely long hair and this is what I told them I wanted it to look like vs what I got. Absolutely horrible experience - honestly suprised one of his coworkers didn’t step in and tell him he was doing such a horrible job. I really hope he goes back to school and learns how to cut hair because I could taken sheers to my head blindfolded and cut it better.

I have consistently been coming to Kate for the past several years and always have a wonderful experience. She is kind, professional and she always customize my haircut to what and I leave happy. I love the 1 year membership for the 7 course services I received as a gift. I schedule my services every three weeks and look forward to each visit. The team there is amazing and truly understand the essentials of a man's hair style.

Update: Liz, the Director of Operations reached out personally to help rectify the situation. She offered me a free service, which I agreed to come in for a Hand Repair. The service was relaxing and the conversation was good. My nails look really good as well. I went to the Frisco location for this service. Overall, I’m glad at the outcome of the situation. Thank you Liz for making this right. Original Review: I bought a gift card to The Gents Place as part of a basket at a silent auction to help support a worth cause. I had a “luxury razor shave” with Gale and this was my experience… also this was my first time to The Gents Place: 1. The concierge said to get there 10 minutes early and I would get a tour of the facility and to get a drink. I got my drink but did not get a tour of the facility. 2. Supposed to be a 60 minute service (according to the concierge) was only a 30 minute service (was brought back at 3:17 and was walked to the front at 3:50) 3. Heard another Stylist talking crap about a customer… she may have been joking but I couldn’t tell 4. Missed a spot on my cheek (I’m going to have to shave this myself when I get home) 5. Cut me on my chin and there’s several black spots from where she cut me and put something on it to cover it up (I feel like I look like the Grinch in that one scene where he first shaves) 6. The razor pulled on my skin and irritated my skin – it was not sharp enough 7. The receptionist told me “what would you like to leave for a tip” instead of “would you like to leave a tip” and that really put a sour taste in my mouth as it felt as if it was not optional, even though I’m obviously going to tip. In conclusion, even though I had a gift card, I do not feel like I got my moneys worth for the service. I don’t think I will ever return to The Gents Place. I called the concierge and they took my notes from above. A member of the operations management team is supposed to reach out and I will update my review when they do so.

Whiskey while I wait? Free shoeshine? Guest passes? Bought a membership. I’m the guy who always gets a haircut when it’s obviously overdue. They scheduled an appointment for me and sent it to my calendar. Love the atmosphere, I could hang out here with my friends. Literally. Members can reserve the lounge. Also ask about their project for veterans.
