I never really felt good about how my hair looks, but then I got an amazing haircut by Vernessa! It frames my face perfectly and there's just so much bounce to it that made it fun to walk around, too. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to replicate blow drying my hair like they did, so it's not as bouncy any more and looks wonky now. Nonetheless, they showed me that my hair could look real good!

Kat at Winsome was great! The shop has great natural light and good vibes too. I came in with a vague idea of wanting to maintain my short mullet and Kat did a great job of listening and checking in through, even offering a tip on using styling gel that really helped.

Rob cut my hair today and did an excellent job. I’ve never had a hair stylist tell me so much about my hair type and give me such helpful advice. He talked me through what I was looking to get and gave me great suggestions while working with my idea. I look forward to coming back.

Had a good haircut here. Barber was friendly listened properly and gave exactly the style I wanted. Clean shop and reasonable price for regular visits.

I am 60 years old and I’ve been to many barbers in my lifetime. Logan is the finest Barber. He makes the experience comfortable, relaxing, and my hair and beard always look amazing thanks Logan and keep up the good work.

Had a lot of haircuts in the city prior to visiting this barbershop. Always wanted to try and give it a shot specially after reading people's reviews here, an institution that takes pride in giving quality cuts, my expectations were naturally high. But after my visit, i came out of the barbershop feeling not contented at all. Even, a bit frustrated i might add. Quality of haircut felt very sub-par and saddens me to even say, one of the worst cuts i've ever had. You know how they say, 'you look good, you feel good'? well, i felt disheartened & disappointed. Perhaps, an off day for Logan, the barber. For now, i'll stick to someplace else.

Please give me a call back at the shop as I want to get your haircut refunded but can’t until I confirm your specific haircut time. Big apologies about this. Very uncharacteristic for the shop, and especially Logan as he is one of our leaders and a top barber. Yes, everyone does have off days in life, even barbers… but you also shouldnt have to pay for a service experience you were unsatisfied with. Please call me back so I can get you refunded. First experience at this amazing establishment today and I felt safe and at ease the moment I walked in! As a black, trans masc neurodivergent person, I felt immediately comfortable. It was a relaxed vibe and the ambiance of the place such as the decor, smell and professional setup was stellar! I booked with Kieara and it was a great choice from the start. She was welcoming, gentle, curious about me as a new client with my hair journey and just sweet. I will absolutely book again with Kieara!

I begrudgingly followed Amanda from their previous barber shop because they consistently do a great job with my hair, even when I change things up. Winsome is a bit further than I typically would go for a cut, but it’s near the climbing gym and it’s got a great vibe. Nice and open, good tunes, plants, art, and refreshments. Glad to have made the change and can’t recommend Amanda more!

The aesthetic, the products, the staff. Aces. Knowledgeable, diverse, kind and they listen. It's not just about a haircut, I found a place that appreciates sustainability, hair care and support, art and unique personal style. My barber Amanda is amazing and I will continue to come here... I'm all natural with short hair and very particular about barbers/stylists.

Winsome is more than just a barbershop, owner and operator Alex has spent so much time and energy to make Winsome an experience versus a haircut. The welcoming inclusive environment is one of my favorite aspects of the shop. I have booked with Alex and Logan and they both are just great. They both listen and engage to ensure you get the look you are going for. Definitely a rare find. Lastly, if you are an animal lover shop pup Olive will bring a smile to your day.
