If you aren’t black person this barber shop is not meant to be for you Since I misjudged this shop and went directly to it after being warned by close friends that these people practice racism, I thought they were joking. So I went to see for myself what they were warning me about not going to these barbershops and what they meant by racism on my head and face. Finally, I understood what they were warning me about, and I felt all the racism they practice on your face if you are not African or from the region. What they warned me about happened to me. I told the barber in the last row on the left, who was wearing a bandana, not to use his razor too harshly because I have sensitive skin, and to be careful in the area of the shave on my head. However, the barber insisted on pressing the razor against my skin as if he were digging into it. Despite my warning, he insisted on digging into my skin with his razor without sterilizing his tools, leaving marks on my face that may last forever. These marks, which the barber dug with his razor, will not disappear except after multiple treatments and medical sessions. Now I understand what my friends were saying about the racism. They do it right in your face, and on top of that, the price of a shave is expensive and costly. If it were legal for me to leave without paying a single penny, I would have left the shop without paying them a single cent , as they think that’s legally for them to dig in your skin & leave marks on your face that will last forever From my perspective, this type of person who calls himself a barber is neither a barber nor suitable for a barbershop; rather, he is a butcher suitable for a butcher shop. So after reading this guy's review this is complete slander first things first we serve all people because we are on a college campus. Secondly we've been here for 15years and no one has ever use this type of slander against us . Everyone greeted this person with politeness no one said anything out the ordinary to and furthermore I would bet a dollar to a million that he wouldn't let no of the men who earn an honest livelihood and are good men marry his daughter, this is the case of the pot calling the kettle black. And what did his head being sensitive to a razor have to do with racism we dont know who sent him but people like him should go where he feels comfortable we serve people who are decent and honest doctors lawyers scientist teachers ordinary people hood people children elders and you can ask any of these people about our service and none would agree with this person. People like this are miserable and they wanna spread misery .

Today, I went for a haircut to this saloon. Won't lie the people were great. Got a fade and asked the person tending me to kind of adjust my beard with my trim. Well, he did adjust them but also trimmed my beard. I believe it was majorly due to my problem of communicating. Got charged $35. I will say that's a reasonable price since I have very long and messy hair and the person tending me was patient and was very thorough for an hour! Overall it's really good, just annoyed at my beard. But definitely would come back again.

Super friendly staff, be super clear with instructions for hair, maybe bring a reference picture, I asked for a couple inches off the top and 1 inch on the sides and they just about buzzed me completely, easily avoidable with a reference photo and maybe asking them to stop periodically to check length, better pricing compared to other places in the area

Well sometimes the patron has to be clear we speak in certain terms fade: high, mid, drop an inch of the top 2 inches off the side isn't that clear to a barber we use specific terms were sorry you didn't get the exact style but it is all a matter of communication

Got my hair done by Talib. The dude did a great job on the shape up. I have curly biracial hair, which can get hit or miss results with some barbers elsewherw, but he hit it out of the park. I'll definitely be going back.

My son went to get a shape up came home with an uneven hair line. We went back as soon as he walked in the house. When we got there the guy that cut his hair was no where to be found and when we talked to the owner he was very rude. The owner started to get louder once we told him what the problem was, not once were we rude or loud when talking to him. He then refused to fix my son’s hair and also refused to give my son his money back.

This is a lie no one asked me about a hair line nore money back rude is when someone is being rude and you ask them to leave all of our barbers have long experience it could have been a number of things the child may not have been able to keep still or is a cryer so we dont know this person and if she came to get her money back she could get it but a child's shape up is only $10 so it's a lie this person is obviously hating

They messed my hair line up, then when I went back they refused to fix it / give money back. They also are very rude. The owner likes to talk crazy to female customers and young teens. One side of my head looks like it’s been lined up and the other side looks like I’m homeless. I paid 35$ to sit in a chair to get messed up in 10 minutes, it only took him 10 minutes then he was done . Please save yourself the trouble of having a bad hair cut and go somewhere else.

I'm so in distraught ,the owner of the shop is so nasty, the way he handles kids and talk to women is ridiculous,I went in on a weekday busy work day to get my son a quick cut, I believe in great customer service,so the owner is usually sitting outside,he asked me if im a walk in with a nasty tone, I started to say nevermind, but was in a rush, he kept talking nasty to me and my son so I went off on him, he told me to shut up and get out his shop, a literal nightmare, plz do not support this business and he's black,my mom said next time record nasty business owners

Now this Stlz person is a complete fool anyone that know the owner of this salon knows he's the best with little boys because it's a barber shop and we don't cut little girls that this comment is personal or an observation from a outside looking in perspective and it ridiculous I think this person is a undercover hater maybe because he's been admonished by the owner for some unbecoming behavior and he now wants to twist it. And as for the comment about women let's ask any real women that get service here how they are treated and they will make Mr Stlz or whatever his name is a liar cause that what he is and we will continue to work with the youth hire the youth cut their hair and we shall be a contributor to this culture with out this person's opinion so they should keep the lies to themselves

Turtle did a absolutely wonderful job on my beard and was incredibly fast + professional. (Thanks!) Talib is a very friendly and nice 1st chair with a super cool “barbershop” pendant- he makes walking in a great experience. I was in the area and needed a beard trim and am very happy I came in. Even though this isn’t near me, I will be 💯% be making the trip here in the future. Very reasonable & fair prices with superb service is the complete total barbershop package! Not only are they talented but they share tips n tricks, as well they have whatever grooming things you may need. Hopefully they have some tutorials/classes coming up to help us learn how to keep our look clean between appointments. 💈 🏅
