If you ever go to True Deja Vu barber shop, ask for Gucci. He’s a humble dude and cool guy; and should I tell you about his barbing skills?! He’s super phenomenal. He has consistently given me the best cuts. Another thing, he’s super respectful and willing to listen to exactly what you want and he brings your cut to life. Thanks to Barber GUCCI and all the barbers at True Deja Vu barber shop! 10 stars!

Super dope cut! Every time I go there, the cut I get is always outstanding. The atmosphere is nice and professional. Gucci is a master barber. He is super nice with the clippers.

I first got my haircut here 3 weeks ago and it was the best haircut i have gotten in forever! The shop is so welcoming and the service is amazing. Gucci was the one who cut my hair and he is so nice and really makes sure you your cut comes out perfect. He actually cares about the quality of the cut and doesn’t rush. I will only be going here for now on!

I’ve been here about three times now, and each time I’ve been highly satisfied! Especially with Barber LU Blendz!! He is amazing with toddlers. My son is 2 years old, and he is so patient, professional, and caring with him. That means everything to me as a parent. We will definitely be coming here for the long run. If you have a toddler, book with him — you will not be disappointed!!

Came here after getting a bad cut elsewhere and Danny not only was able to fix it, I think this might be the best haircut I've ever gotten. Cuts are usually 30 minutes but he took time to really work with my hair for like an hour, and I appreciate it so much. You can tell he's both passionate about his work and extremely skilled. The atmosphere was great too, everyone was nice and respectful, they even offered water or drinks and changed the music when a kid came in to get his hair cut. The attention to detail at this place is incredible. 12/10 I highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience at TRU DEJAVU. Both Gooch and D provided me with a stellar experience, and I would hands down recommend this barber shop to anyone in the North Philly area looking for a haircut. I have been coming here for over a year now as a Temple student, and I leave every appointment excited for my next one. Danny really cares about all his clients and has truly become a friend to me. Get a haircut from TRU DEJAVU and I promise you will find your home barber shop!

First time getting a cut in Philly and let me tell you my boy gee did a great job with my haircut . Very communicative and made sure what I wanted before he did anything . Highly recommend him and the other barbers as well. Will be coming back for sure

This is my first time taking my 2 year old to an actual barbershop Danny was amazing with him. Very patient very sweet. I made a reservation while I was in the car for 2pm and arrived a little after 1:30 and was seen immediately. Clean and welcoming environment and def recommend to single moms who may feel uncomfortable bringing their son to a barbershop alone.

I was able to make a same day appointment that was in a half hour and was seen almost immediately. The staff showed me great customer service. Shakeem consistently asked what I wanted and made sure it was done correctly. The fade was crispy and the conversation was nice. Good vibes and impressive hospitality, definitely recommend this spot if you're near the Olde Kensington area.

I came in there with me, my son and grandson, we walked out of there looking and feeling fresh and ready to go and enjoy our day. The staff was extremely helpful and Shop and Gio provided excellent customer service, the vibes in the establishment made me feel good about being back in my hometown. I would highly recommend Tru to anyone, especially if you want that great barbershop experience like back in the day but with a modern twist. Shout out to Danny who had the shop back in the day under the El and is still keeping that Philly flavor alive. 💯💯 See you guys again soon… Go Birds 🦅
