Finding a barber in the city who actually gets it isn’t easy. I’ve been through enough chairs in Philly to know the difference. The Philadelphia Barber Co. (Northern Liberties) is the real deal. The space is amazing, inviting, fun and professional. Anthony is precise without being heavy-handed. Clean line-up, no pushing the hairline back into next year, and no “barely touched it” safe cuts either. He understands texture and shape and knows how to keep it sharp without looking overworked. I’m in client-facing leadership, I need polished in a boardroom and natural everywhere else in life. Anthony nailed that balance. Structured, intentional, modern… but still me. If you’re booking at this location, book with Anthony. No hesitation.

Just bite the bullet and get your hair cut here. Jenna is a pro and makes you feel like she’s your friend (she’ll listen to me yap about whatever and just go with the flow). Ken is one of the best in town too. My son and I have gone to TPBC since the beginning (we line in NJ). They put the customer first and you’ll leave with a great haircut. We won’t go anywhere else.

Got a total chop job in CO before visiting Philly. I was lucky enough to find Mykola. Absolutely the best haircut I ever got! He was meticulous. Thank you! Ill be back twice a year for years to come!!!

I’ve been going to The Philadelphia Barber Co. for many years now, and the service has been nothing short of excellent every single time. Jenna is hands down the best in the business. She delivers an incredible haircut every visit and somehow manages to put up with all my stories and 30-minute rambles along the way. It’s rare to find someone who not only does amazing work but also makes the entire experience enjoyable. If you’re looking for a talented, professional, and genuinely great barber, Jenna and The Philadelphia Barber Co. are unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Madison is awesome! She’s been cutting my hair for years and I won’t get a haircut anywhere else. Would highly recommend her! This is a nice place to get a haircut too, and everyone’s friendly.

I started coming here after following Madison from her old barbershop, and I’m so glad I did. She’s super reliable, professional, and always does an amazing job cutting my hair. The shop has a really friendly and welcoming vibe too.

Went a couple times before and it was fine. Friendly staff tried to actually follow the picture i showed etc. But yesterday i came in and received actually the worst haircut of my life . So so far off from the picture way more hair was cut than what i asked for.at no point did he double check the photo or ask me how much i wanted gone, no conversation at all actually. He did an actually terrible job didn’t even blow me off when he was done i had little cut hairs falling out of my head the entire way home .I didn’t even say anything when he had asked if it was good because the damage had already been done and there was no way to regrow the hair. Literally ruined my confidence with this weak awful haircut i hate and paid 45 dollars for. The barber should be embarrassed and probably fired.

Finding a new barber is hard after going to the same person for years. After trying different spots, Hannah made me feel right at home, making great conversation and making sure I was happy with how she was cutting my hair throughout the appointment. Very happy with her and think I will be returning!

Super friendly and inviting staff. Nice and comfortable area to wait a few moments. They also offer you a refreshment which is a nice surprise. Jess, has been cutting my hair for almost 3 years and she’s the absolute best. I’ve had other barbers there too which always has me leaving feeling and looking my best.
