Been hear a couple times to get a haircut from Sean. Most recently had let it go a little too long and got an impromptu interview at work sprung on me so I was in a pickle. Gave Pennsport a call and they gave me a time slot and worked me in. They do great work and are always friendly and down to have a good conversation.

Pennsport is awesome. The guys are friendly and give a great haircut. They always have good Music on. They have a website where you can make appointments (I believe you can walk in but every time I go for an apointment the chairs are full). A standard cut is $35. They take cash and credit. You can add your tip at the credit card machine.

Mike and the rest of the crew at Pennsport Barber Shop are just fantastic. We go there for both adult and kids haircuts and always have a great experience. The vibe is excellent, with a real Philadelphia neighborhood feel that appeals to old and new neighbors alike.

After years of searching I think I may have found my “forever barber” in Mike! He’s great at what he does (I get twice-monthly haircuts and beard trims from him), is consistent in his work and pleasant attitude, and on top of that he’s gifted with cutting hair for young kids (my 8 year old manages to still for Mike like he never has for other barbers). The shop itself is fun and quirky and is one of the few establishments that seems to appeal equally to both longtime and newer Philadelphians.

I've never had a bad haircut here, and I've been cut by each of them. Rian is fun to chat with, Frank has great attention to detail, and Sean has killer fade skills. Highly recommended spot.

Can't recommend enough Mike was so patient and thoughtful with my son , who hasn't cut his hair in some time due to another barber at a different shop messing it up. He took the time to really go over everything with him and even showed him a look book. My sons hair is perfect and he's so much more confident with his perfect little young Leo cut he's even been asking for it to be styled. So glad we were able to find my boys perfect style with such a great shop ❤️

I’ve had my hair cut here three times since moving to Philly. I always book whoever is available as I usually book last minute. Every barber has done an excellent job. It’s a nice little barber shop with interesting decor all over the place which I like. Also, always enjoy talking to whoever is cutting my hair there which is always a plus.

This place is awesome! Been going here since a little before COVID era, and they are amazing every time! Carlos is a legend! The haircuts, and other services that this shop offers is amazing!!! They hold really great conversations, and are just a really well rounded, and a family oriented environment! Best haircuts I have ever gotten in my life! The shop also always is clean, and smells great because of the candles that they light! Love it here, and will continue to keep coming here.

Lauren, Carlos & crew are up to the minute with hair, mustache & beard styles. Friendly atmosphere. Street parking Covid awareness. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS’ We need them to enhance our neighborhoods! This one is worth the trip!
