I would have given this a 4-5 star unfortunately I didn’t. The guy who cut my son hair had cut his ear and he didn’t know what a blow out fade was as he supposedly an experienced barber. I’m not here to shame on anyone. I seen good reviews for this shop and i wanted to give it a try but to injured my son ear left him having a scab and super uncomfortable.

Great service been coming for a few years. Everyone is friendly and awesome. What always bothers me, they advertise walk ins. Every time I am there someone walks in and they cannot be taken because their schedules are filled. I understand about their schedules. But as a customer that can be frustrating. Don't advertise walk ins or have certain hours for walk ins.

I have been coming here for a little more than a year now and love it here! I get my cut by Fuad (I believe that's how it's spelled) and he does a phenomenal job. He is very sharp especially when it comes to shaping up my beard and is too nice with the scissors. Highly recommend!!

Been going to the Albanian guy in the back for 4 years now.. Past 3 times he messed up my cut. He knew I was combing it to the side but cut it completely short and says oh well, it will grow out..and was more worried about asking me what I do for work and telling me to get 2 jobs. And charging me more money for future cuts. Sorry bro I'm done there.

Owner's response

I am so sorry for such bad experience you had and ready to make it up to you with great measures. Sorry again for your bad experience.

They fit my son in last minute without an appointment on a Friday afternoon (my dads funeral was the next day) and didn’t wait long. He did a wonderful job. We will be back.

I was on standby for a haircut when the owner called me to tell me he had a 2:30pm appointment available, although I was having lots of pain I drove 15 miles from New Jersey to keep this appointment anyway. When I got there I was told my appointment was no longer available because I didn’t confirm it although I tried calling the barber shop and the owners cell phone multiple times but got no answers, I even texted that I was on my way but was ignored. 30 miles of driving and no haircut! I am 69 and disabled and have been getting my haircut here for 14 years but after this I’m done, this incident caused me physical & emotional pain, thank you Ivan!

As an AA woman I'm highly critical of who cuts my 'do. The owner has a good skillset and keeps the place clean. He's chatty but not to the point of annoyance.

Northeast Grace Barbershop is definitely one of the premier places to get your hair cut in Philadelphia. They are professional, amicable to their customers, cut all types of hair , detail-oriented, sanitary, and perfectionistic meaning that they will go above and beyond to make sure that your haircut will meet and exceed your expectations. Their price for a haircut is $13.00 which is reasonable and I would highly recommend coming to this barbershop. They accept walk-in however if you don't make an appointment , expect to wait longer for your hair to be cut . I would certainly return here for a haircut in the future.

My guy Ivan has been cutting my hair since I was about 13 I'm now 21 and he's still my barber. I've followed Ivan from barber time to his own shop. I recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a sharp barber just schedule in advance but the shop is A-1

i took my son in for a haircut because the first time we went, there was no issue and my boy sat still. However, when we went back, all we got was the run around as if our business wasn't good enough! We sat there and waited about 20 mins , mind you my 4 year old is very hyper and eager so any wait is trying, just for them to tell us they're all booked up. We tried to schedule another apt and it was for 4 days later. Once we arrived to our scheduled appt time and date the shop was closed. No call or anything. They are very unorganized and have no time concept, I would NOT recommend wasting your time with this barbershop and their varying hours and despite what they advertise, and they're lack of consideration for people and schedules.

Owner's response

We will always do our best and we guarantee it. We would like to offer a free haircut for the inconvenience. I the owner was unaware of such unprofessional act.
