I've only been once in the middle of a spring/summer week A walk-in hair cut for my son turned into a line‐up and beard shape up for me as well. Illusions is a classic black neighborhood hood barbershop. It is not a polished hip rehabbed space for social media influncers. It is more of a familiar store for specific a service...GETTING YOUR HAIRCUT but still giving more. Points I appreciated. - Professional looking Shop - Clearly Displayed pricing - Mature professional barbers - walk-ins welcome

Cool environment, respectful guys. Came in as a walk-In. Just to find a place closer to where I just moved. Barber maybe was nervous cutting my hair. Hands was shaking & seemed like he was rushing. Cut my beard line lower than I asked. I wanted a 1.5 got a 2 instead. Maybe just needs more experience cutting younger guys hair. No sweat it will grow back but alil disappointed.

They were so friendly and welcoming from the phone call to set the appointment to getting there and making me and my boys feel comfortable. Mr Dave did an excellent job on my boys heads. The little one always cry when he gets a cut, but he didn't with Mr. Dave. It was just the shop I've been looking for. I wanted my boys to be around men, and we got just that. We definitely will be returning

Very rude! Just took my son it and I asked if someone could cut my son! No one bothered answering. I asked again only to receive a bunch of mumbling. They missed out on a 50 dollar tip. You never know who you could possibly be servicing. Which is why you should always treat everyone kindly

Chill laid back barbershop. Wholesome older guys there. Reminds me of how barbershops used to be. Chill & watch a movie or the game while you wait until it’s your turn to get cut. Going to get a good laugh or a good story one of the two. My kids barber is Mr. Keith. Pull up on the old school barber one time.

Fine long standing establishment. The owner Jay and the barbers are all very professional and competent. They honor appointments and are very skilled. I take my family of 4 for cuts and they always have little things for the children such as books etc. They love that place and I do too.

I’ve been going to Illusions since they opened. Dave, Keith, and James are a great group of barbers; courteous and respectful all of the time. The shop is always clean. And, there’s always a good conversation to join into while you wait for your cut.
