I have never had anyone cut my my hair in 25 years except Kim in Marlton at Suede Salon and Spa...pretty swanky. Anywhoo at the coaxing of my friends I decided to visit Franklin's on East Girard. I obviously had serious trepidations...but decided to go to Franklin's. I had absolutely positively no idea who was going to cut my hair...but I sat on deck ...for who was going to cut my hair. John got my number...absolutely positively the nicest guy...as well as the rest of the staff...that our inviting and extremely funny...when I walked in I was old...fat..and ugly....but John is an artist...so I am still old...but not so ugly at 66. John is a very interesting person....anywhoo...I will be back to Franklin's...enough said...great team there...Respectfully Bob Sears

New to the neighborhood. I attempted to walk in for my appointment which are accepted at this shop (allegedly) however I was immediately turned away due to the barber stating they were closed. It was a few minutes passed five o clock, and business hours stated they closed at seven o clock. There was only one person seen waiting and the front door was open. It was obvious there is a biasness towards P.O.C. who possess textured hair. I will NEVER support this ""salon"" because it's hardly a barbershop

I received great service from a friendly group of barbers, however, I have some concerns regarding their barbering skills. My requested style (the top photo) differed significantly from the result (the middle photo), requiring me to shave again at home to achieve a satisfactory look. Consequently, I don't plan to return to that barbershop or any other in the future, as I believe I can achieve better results myself. Furthermore, I was charged $40 despite the unsatisfactory outcome.

I have gotten haircuts from all the barbers here with great results! They all do an excellent job listening to what type of hair cut I want and offer a premium service for a great price . The shop is always clean and always run on time with their appointments. They are all fun to talk with and I can tell they all really love their profession.

Scheduled a semi-last minute haircut with Rhys when my regular barber was unavailable. Great cut! He was meticulous and really considered in how he approached my somewhat frustrating head of short hair. I just went back to him again and I think he did an even better job the second time. He’s now my go-to guy. On top of the quality cut, him and the other barbers are clearly close and have a real chemistry. It’s a fun time listening to them riff.

Wonderful atmosphere and even better barbers. The shop is warm and welcoming. Lots of barbers will simply cut your hair how they think it looks good, but Rhys will listen to how YOU think it should look and will carefully work to achieve your vision. Beyond just being great company, Rhys is incredibly skillful with scissors, clippers or a razor. The service he offers is above and beyond the very reasonable price point. I recommend him and Franklin's to any man that cares about a great haircut.

I was there today for the first time, but I live around the corner and have walked by plenty. Having a lot of my family in this industry, I thought it was a great experience. Very genuine, down to earth, and quality work. John did a great job and was super personable. Glad to have Franklin's in the neighborhood, a place like this makes a difference.

I’ve been coming to Franklin’s for just about a year now, and I’ve never gotten a bad hair cut. Sam is my go-to barber and she always does a fantastic job. However, what made me think about leaving this review today was my beard trim on January 18. I booked my beard trim two days before my wedding. I was very nervous about it, because barbers in the past had done really horrible jobs and not listened to what I wanted. This was not the case with Sam - I felt fantastic, friends commented on how great my beard looked, and my now wife loved it too. If you ever go in for a beard trim, the whole process is so relaxing and you come out looking and feeling amazing. Thanks!

I've had such great haircuts since I started going to Sam, just as she was finishing up her apprenticeship. Getting a beard trim is an occasional decadence that is totally worth the dough - not just a trim, but massage, hot towels, nice smelling products for your beard and skin. The shop has a fun vibe with good banter, too. 11/10, highly recommend.

The staff is professional, friendly, courteous, efficient and, above all, masters of cutting hair. I was listened to with what hairstyle I wanted and made to feel comfortable and welcomed. The hot towel shave was an incredibly relaxing experience.. Tony, in particular, one of the best barbers I’ve ever gone to and is well worth booking with. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a barber in town. Just book online through their website.
