Great barbershop in Old City. They take care of you. Parking usually isn't bad if you go during the day. Street parking usually available. Stephen has been cutting my hair for about 2 years. He knows what he's doing.

If you're looking for more than just a haircut, Duke at Bloke's Barbershop is your guy. This British transplant (since 2011) has been at this for 40 years - trained at Vidal Sassoon, worked city center salons, even had a music career before coming back to scissors and clippers. But it's not just about the skills - Duke's a great hang. Great stories, hilarious personality, and he knows everyone in Philly. Plus, his wife Jill runs the shop with him, so it's a proper family operation. Pro tip: Ask him about his journey from the UK to Philly. You won't regret it. Best barber in the city. Period.

Blokes is THE best barber shop! Been going here for years now. Duke, Steven, Joey and all the team are consistent and fantastic. It’s got a great vibe and chill music.

I’ve been going to Blokes for almost five years now, and even though I live about 30 minutes away, I still make the trip. The team is always welcoming, and Steven consistently delivers a top-quality haircut. There’s simply no reason for me to go anywhere else.

Went to Blokes and was impressed the entire time. Great ambiance and talented barbers. I was set up with Joey P and got one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I have very fine short hair that can be difficult to work with. I will definitely be back.

What a nightmare . They won’t take a reservation without a credit card, the woman couldn’t get my information correct or get the machine to work, she said the information on their website was incorrect and not to go by that, and then set me up with Joey who got a terrible review on Yelp. He gave someone a five minute haircut and didn’t pay attention to what he was doing. And they want to charge $52? Life shouldn’t be this hard.

Always great service from all the barbers and staff at Blokes. My teenage son and I have been getting our cuts there for years. Joey P is excellent at what he does and very efficient with time which is very helpful for busy parents and students!

Blokes in Old City is a great spot to get a haircut. the staff, ambiance, and overall experience is always top notch. My guy Joey never leaves me disappointed. He does a great job of making sure I’m getting my haircut exactly how I want it to look, and ensures that I leave satisfied every single time. He’s a great conservationist if you want to chat, but can also give you a peaceful, quiet cut if that’s what you prefer. I can’t say enough nice things about Joey and the blokes staff, so go get your all your grooming needs taken care of at Blokes!
