I’ve used the shop multiple times over the year and in general this is a great shop. This time I had Ben do my kids cuts and he butchered them. He paid no mind to how I told him to cut their hair. His lines are atrociously uneven. When I noticed on my second child’s hair he attempted to straighten it out and just made it worse and worse. !

We Went here as a walk in , Ben did my boyfriends hair and he botched it , did not know how to do the haircut that was asked for , Also he did not pay attention almost the entire haircut he was looking around at other people and things going on in the barbershop .Luckily, the manager and rest of the staff were very accommodating, They did not charge us for the haircut and Lou Fixed my boyfriends hair and saved the day . He was very kind and we were very pleased with the outcome ! Will recommend Lou to everyone !

Antonio is my guy. He is professional and pays attention to detail. I used to travel an hour to get a good haircut. Now I walk to bowens in newtown!

2nd time visiting. Real hit or miss. First time no issues, good experience. Second time, complete disaster. Probably the worst haircut I’ve ever had. Repeated myself 3 times and still didn’t get what I asked for. Hair length is completely uneven and all over the place. And some nice razor burn to boot. Currently driving around looking for a place that can try to salvage this.

Tracy is amazing! I am actually a retired hairstylist but my sons are very picky...happy to have found someone who can keep up with the teenage boy trends!!

I don’t write reviews on my own often. I am very particular about hair and we have tried (boy/men) haircuts at so many different places locally. I think we finally found our go-to barber. Antonio did such a great job with my teen boys hair and I only came in with a picture or two. My son has medium length hair and I wasn’t even sure I could go to a barber for scissor cuts but we did and WOW. We will be back!!

I have been coming here now for the last 6 years based on a friend’s recommendation and this is a super barbershop. Staff is very friendly and I especially like Antonio and Ben. I don’t have much hair so my options are limited in what style to get but they make it all look good. Plus they razor shave with warm shaving cream the back of your neck which is a very nice thing to do. And they trim your eyebrows. Glad they offer a senior discount. Hours are very accommodating and they keep it very clean. I am a contented customer at Bowen’s.
