This is the is hands down best barber on Staten Island! It was so good I had to write my first google review. Shop is extremely clean, environment is calming, comfortable, and professional. On top of all that Richie is an amazing barber who takes his time and makes sure you leave looking fresh. I will be making this my go to barbershop going forward.

UPDATE: Just wanted to give an update since I’ve been going to Richie for over a year now. I’m just as satisfied as the first day I came here. He really treats cutting hair as more than just his job. He puts unparalleled care and passion into his work to make you look the best possible. It’s not like other barber shops that try to churn out as many customers as possible, resulting in one hour lines, disorganized operation, and little attention and care put into the cut. That’s why I love this barber shop; there’s no other barber shop experience quite like Richie’s Barber Shop. Original review: I would probably describe him as the Michelangelo of haircutting, with how intricately he works. This was definitely an interesting experience, and not your typical barber shop experience (and for the better, I think). He works by appointment and is punctual. You and him will be the only ones in the shop, which is great. I used to wait upwards of an hour at my old crowded shop but here it's immediate. Someone else said he is rather silent, and that's true. He's not much of a talker, but I don't mind at all (I prefer it this way). He doesn't mess around. You go in, sit down, and get your cut. Great cut, too. Dumb & Dumber was playing on his big flat screen, which was fun. Overall I'm satisfied and will definitely be returning. 👌

Just wanna say I had an amazing experience at this top notch barber shop, never in a million years would think I would be comfortable at this location. Yes it only appointments but trust me you, the vibe and the respect you get it top notch. Homie really passionate on what he does, making us look clean and well groomed. he listen to how you want it and makes it happen. Plus your one on one with your barber, you don’t have to worry about loud music, loud people seating around distracting your barber or taking too long like normal barber shop do. I’m very picking with my barber and this guy really did what I wanted thank you bro, you’ll definitely see me again……

After having recently moved to Staten Island a friend referred me to Richie's Shop. Been here a few times now and I will continue to come here. His appointment-based system is very convenient and gets rid of the hassle of waiting around if you were at any other barber shop. His shop is also very clean and has a great classy environment. Highly recommend him!

I was looking for a new barber so my friend recommended me Richie. Definitely the BEST barber and haircuts I’ve ever had! He’s appointment based and you can call or text to make an appointment which is super convenient for me. His shop is really nice and clean as well. Highly recommend!

Amazing barber! Did a great job I’m a happy first time client. Definitely will become a regular. Very punctual and respectful of timing and scheduling. I shot him a text and he responded in a timely manner as well as put me on his schedule.

I had a hard time finding a good barber shop in Staten Island. Tried Richie few years back and nothing but positive outcome everytime I go for a haircut. Place is very nice, located on a quiet block, with plenty of parking which is very important. Appointment's are always kept as promised, and if any time issues arise he always sends a text or calls so you don't have to wait at the barber shop. Great guy and always a pleasure to deal with.

Richie is the best. I've been going to him for over 5 years now and he consistently delivers a sharp cut no matter what style I decide to throw at him. He is awesome with beards and his hot towel shaves are off the hook. He is super friendly and accommodating, and the shop is always clean as a whistle. He's the man and I would recommend Richie's Barber Shop to anyone who is in need of a cut!
