I discovered this gem because I work in the area. The shop is always clean and Rafael gives a great haircut. My favorite thing about Rafael's barbershop is that he is PUNCTUAL with appointments. I've gone to other barbers where you make an "appointment" and don't get in the chair for over an hour. Rafael is a pro for sure! I'll definitely keep going back to Rafael's and made sure I referred all of my friends

I couldn't be happier that Rafael finally has his own place. Him and his father are great people and do such a nice job. People used to line up out the door for Rafael at all the places I have gone to him previously. It is nice that he takes appointments now, but always leaves the door open for walk ins. If you are looking for a new place to get a haircut, this is the place.

I have been getting my haircut from Rafael for a few years now and there is no one better. He can do all styles and does a great job. You can talk sports and overall the experience is top notch. I would recommend to anyone.

I've been getting my hair cut by Rafael for years now. I've never stuck with one barber as long as I've been going to him because he's hands down the best one I've ever been to. Always happy with the cut and he's a great guy. You wont be disappointed if you call for an appointment today.

I followed Raf from F&G's because he's the only barber I've ever stuck with for more than a year. I've been going to him since he started at F&G's several years ago, and I'm really excited he now has his own place nearby. He gives amazing haircuts with a lot of attention to detail. He does not rush and you get the same, excellent quality every time. The man definitely knows his craft.

Ive Been getting my cut at Rafael’s for over a month now and have been to him before when my old barber was on vacation. This guy will lace your fade like no other .. the attention to detail and time spent on your cut is refreshing. I get so many compliments when I am out about it and constantly refer them to his place. If you need a place or a change and not sure who’s good enough .. this is the place to go! -Anthony

Raf is simply the beat barber I’ve been to in 29 years. After many years of changing finally got the only one I need. He puts so much effort and detail into every cut. He takes care of your every need. Does amazing job of lining up my facial hair as well. One of the nicest guys too. Also super welcoming whenever you come in. Try him once and you’ll never go back to anyone else.

Although I have only known Rafael for one year, he is still the best barber for the price he charges. His dad, George, has been a barber for over 40 years and taught his son the art of barbering. He is not only friendly, courteous, but also consistent. I have never had a bad haircut from this man. Go to Rafael’s!

Rafael’s barbershop is one of the best places in Staten Island. My husband has been with Rafael for a number of years and we also take our son there too. Rafael works very well with children and adolescents alike. The hair cut is always what we are looking for, doesn’t rush and is shows patience with our 3 year old. I would highly recommend this family friendly establishment, only wish I could give more than 5 stars. Additionally, they have parking which makes this place super convenient. Rafael is a part of our family.

Rafael has been my barber 8 years now. Gives me a perfect haircut every visit. Always a treat to get a haircut with him, Always makes you feel welcome when you go to him. I wouldn't trust anyone else to cut my hair other than Rafael. A fresh haircut means a lot to man and without this guy i wouldn't look presentable.
