Great Barber Shop. The men who work there are all great, take their time and meet the needs of the customer. Today I got an awesome fade and beard trim. Never disappointed!

Very nice, quite, and relaxing barbershop. Finally a barber shop you can relax at and doesn't have vulgar music blasting. I love the relaxed Vibe and the quiet respite this place provides. Barbers are very nice and are genuine to get to know you and care.

I have been going to the shop for years, there were two brothers that owned it, and both of them are wonderful. They are very personable and the wait is usually around 15 to 20 minutes. The shop is clean and will maintain and you can usually get meter parking or park down the block.

Rude. Racist. They do not like colored people. We walked in and no one would even look at us. My brother and I sat there for 5 minutes. There were 3 barbers and no one spoke to us. They spoke to the other young whites men who were in there. We went to another barbershop down the road and they confirmed Island Barber Shop is rude and racist.

I’m sorry you feel that way but we are far from racist! Usually when it’s really busy we don’t have time to greet everyone. I hope that other barbershop took good care of you.

Have been coming to shop since original owner. Over 20 years . I moved away and I still travel back to get my haircut. Dino and Jimmy are great guys. Guys that I can even know on a personal level. Blessings to all

Every barber in there has cut my 4 boys' hair. Each time i go. I tell them what i want, they do what i ask. They are clean, every tool they use is disinfected before and after each cut, and hair is cleaned up after every cut. Never builds up.... would give them 15 stars if i could! They are amazing. Will not go anywhere else

Great established barbershop that’s been around for over 30 years. The barbers are friendly and give great haircuts. Reasonable prices as well. They wipe down the chairs and clean their tools after every customer. What more can you ask for? Definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends.

I have been coming here for many years and it has never changed. Great cuts and short wait times. My barber Jimmy treats everybody with the same respect and time. Best barbers on the island keep up the good work guys!

Best shop on the island! Fantastic service and fantastic staff. I stumbled onto this place by mistake after being frustrated with my barber at the time. Best find I’ve ever come across. I’ve been going here every two weeks for over 10 years now and I’ve never had a bad experience. Friendly, welcoming and very fair priced. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I have no idea how to describe what I want done with my hair, ever. So there's always that little bit of anxiety over the, "So, how do you want your hair cut?" Well, I felt it just a little bit less today with my first visit to Island Barber Shop. I recently moved, and needed a quick cut for a job tonight. So I came across this place as the closest available spot. I liked the review, detailing that it was a place run by a father and his two sons. That suggests pride in their work. And I'm a bit old fashioned for under 40. My experience today? Greeted with a smile, given a few options to style, and 10 minutes later, was on my way out. It was the perfect solution to a process I find a bit painstaking. The back of the neck shave was a nice finishing touch. Definitely, my new barber, and worth sharing.
