This place was so awesome! I got a really high quality hair cut and it only took a few minutes to do my hair when other places take so much longer. They were fast friendly and a great price

I went in at 5:00 PM on a Friday and the staff were extremely welcoming. Great atmosphere and great haircuts!

I asked for a low taper for the back and sides and he didn't give me a skin taper in the back all he did was thin it out i never get what i asked for. The people do not know how to do tapers properly.

Tim and Vinny are the best- they’re patient, kind and accommodating with my son who has historically had a very hard time with haircuts due to sensory issues. Now he looks forward to going and will happily tell me when it’s time to go see Tim! And the hair cut is always top notch and my little guy is always happy with his hair when we leave.

Tried this barbershop for the first time and had a great experience. Vinny got me in the chair right away and was easy to talk to the whole time. I showed him what I wanted, and he gave his own input on how to style it — the cut came out exactly how I hoped. He didn’t waste any time, worked confidently, and delivered great customer service. I was in and out quickly. I’ll definitely be coming back.

There is such a good vibe at this barbershop. These gentleman are warm, welcoming, funny, and talented barbers. I have never once been unhappy with a cut here. We are really lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

Timmy & Vinny are good people. Doesn’t matter which brother cuts your hair…they do a great job! They both are very personable and the conversations are added bonus…being a barber is not just about cutting hair…you have to be able to carry a conversation and both Timmy & Vinny do that…The shop has that Old Skool feel!

What's not to say. Came in after being awake over 36 hours looking how you would expect. Vinny hooked me up and now has a customer for life! A+ customer service. Place was immaculate. I was honestly surprised at his level of professionalism. Surpassed any and all expectations. Highly highly recommend.

I'm fortunate that the Gentmode barbershop is in my neighbourhood - walking distance from my house. The location is the reason I first tried this excellent barbershop. I keep going back because I'm happy with the work but also because I don't have a lot of time. I've spent too much time sitting in other shops waiting for a barber to become available. Gentmode is two brothers both of whom do professional work without a lot of fanfare. That means you are in and out of the chair quickly, sporting a professional haircut. I am able to stroll in (no appointment) and get a haircut on my lunch hour. And still have time to hit the deli on my way back to work. The prices are competitive, the work is professional and the time savings invaluable. I give the two brothers five stars.
