I was a walk-in and got set with a lady that seemed like she was the only one without regular customers so I didn't expect much but I got a killer haircut!!! They have quality barbers. The place is very clean. It was packed with customers and they still got me right in. Very happy with quality and service.

They are not going to offer you an espresso or glass of whiskey then have you wait 45 min for a $90 haircut. What they will do is immediately seat you and give you a solid haircut for a great price. Have been going for months now and had multiple barbers cut my hair. Always great.

Just finished getting a beard trim. Staff and trim was nice, but when it came to price owner suddenly made up a price of a whopping $20. Price is not on the board and haircut + beard trim is $35. When asked he waved his finger at me and said "beard trim takes longer" which makes no sense. Do not recommend.

Stan is an excellent, careful, kind barber who takes time and attention with each customer. I am very picky and he is the best barber I have ever had.

I went once and he charged me an extra $10 because I am a girl even though my hair was being buzzed and was already only 3 inches to begin with. Also the lady that cut my hair did a great job, but the owner was so flipping rude to her and talking down to her. Didn't mention it was cash only before hand... Then my boyfriend went twice and he didn't listen to what he wanted EITHER time, and did a very shotty job. Will NEVER be going back

I was previously going to another barber shop in Orangeburg, but by the time I would walk through the door they would be cleaning and closing up, and I often would hear the owner groan as I walked through the door. I decided since they didn’t want my patronage I would go elsewhere. I searched and the only shop open past 5 on a weekday that was close to me at the time was Stan’s. 7 years later, I’m still going to Stan’s. I now live in Westchester, NY and will travel back to Pearl River just for a cut. They have been friendly, easy to work with and also reasonable. I came in yesterday for a cut because I am going to a wedding today and just so happened to misplace the cash I was going to use. In the 7 years that I have been coming here this was not the first time, but every time I let them know that I’m going to run and get them the money and every time I come back. Luckily I found it in my car. Never have I had a bad experience here. They always take care of me, they are always reasonable, they always want to have happy returning customers, and they always give me the freshest cut. Thank you Stan’s Barber Shop for all these years of great service!

I've gotten my haircut at Stan's here and there over the years but haven't been in 5 years till today. I hadn't been in 5 years as I had moved across the country and only came back to assist my sick mother. What happened today was atrocious. I arrived and asked for a haircut when the haircut was finished they accused me of not paying for a haircut last time I was there. I told them they had the wrong person but they insisted I had left without paying which is impossible as I hadn't been there in half a decade. They then stole my wallet and forced me to pay for 2 haircuts to get it back. I did not steal your services but you did steal $40 from me for 1 singular subpar haircut. Shame on you.

I have been coming to Stans for over a year now and I have only had positive experiences. I now live over 30 minutes away but still make the trip up here due to their utmost professionalism and perfection!!!! Thank you!

Great haircut. Happy I finally found a barber after using the Nanuet mall for 25 years when they moved it just wasn't the same. After trying all the sports places around I found Stan's. I tried the expensive place in Nyack but not the quality of here .

Stan's Barber Shop offers a great cut and good conversation. Stan is personable and a hard working small business owner, with reasonable prices. Great location too.
