I originally gave this place a bad review but I am updating it because this place made up for it in every way they could! Karim is the man and he does great work. He truly cared about making things right and making up for my first visit. I would definitely recommend coming to this place!

Just walked in today and had a great experience. Kareem did a fantastic job and I am very satisfied with my beard trim and haircut. Highly recommend coming in and letting them take care of you.

I went in for a walk-in haircut around 6pm, only had to wait about ten minutes and then Shon took so much care with the haircut I was amazed! Like the detail showed he really cared. Would recommend to anyone .

Unhygienic and super frustrating. They use the same single towel to wipe the face and small hairs off of consecutive customers (maybe all day long since I didn't see other towels). Really grossed me out as this was the case on different visits. The cut I received got progressively worse each time until it looked nothing like what I requested. When I tried to give feedback and have a conversation about what I was looking for, the barber kept cutting me off and wouldn't let me talk. SO stressful. When I decided to switch to a different barber afterwards, the new guy pointed out a bunch of "lines" that this place had left in my head which was really embarrassing. Don't believe the reviews - they offer a discount to every customer for leaving a 5 star review and they somehow already had 300 reviews the same week they opened (I live on their block) so go figure.

I came in right when they opened and, even though my English isn’t great, I was welcomed very warmly. After just a few minutes of waiting, Karim took care of me and gave me an awesome haircut. He was super friendly and really cool! You can tell he pays great attention to detail and wants everything to be perfect. I’d definitely recommend this barbershop to anyone visiting this neighborhood in New York. Thanks a lot!

Just visiting NYC and came across UNDERCUT. Wow! What an amazing experience! Karim did an amazing job. The attention to detail with the haircut, beard trim and facial was second to none. Might have to travel more for the special treatment. Don’t miss out!

Shams is a true professional and an artist. He used techniques I’ve never seen before and immediately understood exactly what I wanted and what was important to me. The result was perfect, he absolutely nailed it. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Undercut Barber in NYC and had an excellent experience with Shams. I booked a facial treatment and beard grooming, and everything was absolutely flawless. Shams was professional, attentive, and very skilled—he made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My beard has never looked sharper, and the facial left me feeling refreshed. I’m extremely satisfied with the service and highly recommend Shams and Undercut Barber to anyone looking for top-quality grooming in New York.

I like this place, and I really liked the relaxed vibe inside. It is clean and fresh. I've been a client of Faouzi for a while now and he never disappoints me with his work. He is a great barber that pays attention to the details. He will make you look great and feel great too. I'm happy to use this shop and this barber on a regular basis.
