THE WORST haircut of my life done by Omar. Never listened a word and pushed the hairline way too high. Uneven, clearly missed patches, hard handed. Unprofessional and zero effort. Very huge attitude.. Stay away from this place

Ask for ROY! My guy has been the best barber I’ve had in Upper West Side yet. I’ve tried every barbershop in the area and so far no one gets close to his attention to detail and he has great energy too!!

The best barbershop and cleanest fades on the upper west side! Ana (the owner and incredible barber in the photo) and her team are the only barbershop I have gone too for the last 5 years. Even after leaving the neighborhood, moving to Brooklyn, then to New Jersey, I still make the weekly trip into Manhattan to have my hair cut by Ana and her team. Especially if you have a fade, you will get the cleanest fade of your life here! Absolutely no lines even with a skin fade like mine!

I came here for a cut the month they opened, and haven't been anywhere else in 3 years. Had my hair cut by most of the barbers there, and all are excellent and Im always a happy customer. Would highly recommend.

Carlos have been my barber for over five years, and there was no one else I would trust with touching my beautiful locks. The barbershop is very spacious, air-conditioned, good music games on the TV restrooms are clean. I most definitely recommend this barbershop to anyone looking for a good haircut and shave on the UWS.

TLDR: as others have said, customer service is pretty variable, as are the barbers' skills. I go here pretty often, and always ask for the same cut. Generally been pretty happy with the service, but it really depends on who's cutting your hair - they have a lot of different barbers here. Last time I came in, asked for my usual fade cut, but the guy asks weird questions that make me think he didn't understand. I repeat myself and he seems to get it, but then gives me a cut without a fade. I tell him again and he tries to fix it... two more times... until I get something that's approximately what I asked for. He's visibly annoyed the third time he's "fixing" it. When paying for it, he doesn't say anything, but tries to charge me double, I guess hoping I won't notice? When I query it he says "I just gave you three haircuts!" Been here plenty of times before but debating whether I want to come back here again now...

Lou is great! He’s accommodating, easy going, takes his time, and takes care of you while you’re in the chair. He’s also an artist and has a way of knowing exactly what I’m looking for even if I don’t always have the words. Highly recommend if you’re in or around the upper west side

When it comes to hair I’m super strict and picky! I never had a good experience with a lot of barbers in New York -_-, but I'm beyond ecstatic that I finally found the perfect barber shop with amazing barbers. They made me feel like family and they knew extactly what haircut I wanted and made it happen. Best in New York City !!!!
