The other barbers are probably better but this is just not what I asked for. Length was way off but maybe it’ll grow into the look.

Visiting from Virginia, found this place near my hotel on Ludlow. Holy cow so many great reviews! Got a great cut, best thing however was the barber addressed some difficult stray hairs near my mouth. Below ground level entrance. Street parking. Free soda and water. Friendly staff. 💈

This place used to be good until Sam left :/ had a barber that absolutely abused the razor on my hair and genuinely for the price u can find so many better places that actually treat you better. Paid for a haircut and beard trim and Sam would always line me up with a blade, and this barber Jacob just rapidly tried to line it with the razor and ended up leaving a few marks/cuts on my neck. If ur just doing a hair trim I’d say you should but if you require a full hair and beard trim I personally recommend going to literally anywhere else — Sam seemed to be the only one that took his time.

The right place at the right time. No one can cut my boo's hair like the master class who got him here. We were in a new neighborhood and decided to give it a shot and we were not disappointed. My boo has wild hair and these folks were able to work him into a study muffin. Highly recommend for any random adventure! We walked right in!

Editing my original review because the owner called and tried to make this right with me. Initially I was very disappointed with the barber after showing photos of what I wanted and I was trying to grow my hair out so wanted just a small trim. The result was way shorter than I asked - but all in all I’m impressed with the owner following up and making it right after the fact. Thanks!

Had an amazing experience with G!! He gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten in a long time. He easily managed my curly hair and recommended a great haircut which he did with the care and professionalism that I have never received. This is my new go to barbershop!!

Modern boutique with state of the art and smooth equipment. MOST of all the barbers not only know how to give a haircut but they understand which haircut and style compliments your face. I got a haircut with G and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this place. No need for an appointment and wait time was smooth although it is possible to make one. A standard cut is $40 plus tax. Card is accepted.

I had an awesome experience at Undercut Barbers! The service was quick, professional, and top-notch from start to finish. My barber, Gee, did an amazing job — I got a shave, and it was clean, smooth, and perfectly detailed. The hot towel treatment was super relaxing, and Gee finished everything off with a nice touch-up that really showed his attention to detail.

The barbers here really take their time to understand what you want and make sure you leave looking your best. My cut came out sharp, clean, and exactly how I envisioned it. What really stood out was the attention to detail—they don’t rush the process, and you can tell they genuinely care about their craft. The shop itself is stylish, comfortable, and has a great energy that makes you actually look forward to your appointment. If you’re in NYC and want a top-notch haircut, Uppercut is the spot.
