This man is so greedy for money the day I went he charged very expensive the cut because he hadn’t done nothing during the day . He was very dishonest with me.

Steve is very sweet to talk to. Today was the 40th anniversary for his barbershop. He has tons of experience and gives great haircuts. Strongly recommend.

Have been coming here to get my hair cut for 11 years. Moved to Brooklyn 7 years ago but still make the trek up every couple of months. That's how good they are.

Stopped in for the first time on my way home from work this week. I got a pleasant greeting from Steve immediately and got seated pretty quickly, once he finished with a customer. Steve introduced himself, asked my name, and thanked me for choosing him for a haircut. I got a great haircut at a good price and had a pleasant chat with Steve while in the chair. Can't say enough good things about my first experience with Steve. I'll definitely be returning!

I have been going to Steve for about a year now and he’s the best barber I’ve had. He always gives me the perfect haircut and is extremely friendly. Definitely would recommend!

I’ve been seeing Steve for over a year. As a queer person who is not a man, it’s been hard to find an queer friendly barber who takes me seriously and cuts my hair the way that I want. I found that right away with Steve. He does an excellent skin fade. On top of that, I believe he is the most competitively priced barber shop in the area.

I’ve been going to Steve’s business for 11 years. As a woman with short hair it took me a while to find a barber that is also good with scissors. Steve has over 30 years experience as a hairstylist! He also takes appointments over the phone unlike many other barbers. I sincerely recommend Steve if you want a haircut done with care. Do not hesitate.

One of the best barber shops in the city. Been cutting my hair with Steve for about 10 years now. Steve runs a classy establishment and cuts my hair exactly how I want it. Always look forward to my next cut with him.

Wish I could say my experience matched the other, great reviews. This was probably the most unpleasant haircut I’ve ever had. The barber was very rough, hitting my head repeatedly with the clipper and scrapping my head with the comb. By the end, my ear was bleeding and my scalp was red and burning. He seemed to be rushing since I was the last customer of the day. In any event, won’t be coming back. At least it wasn’t expensive.

I'd had a few bad cuts lately and I was looking for a new barber. So, I came in towards closing on a whim after reading a few positive reviews on the google machine. Steve gave me a haircut and beard trim that were really fantastic and he's just secured his position as my barber of choice. Not only did he stay almost 30 minutes past his closing time to take care of me, but he did exactly as I asked and executed it flawlessly! And, the price was spot on; totally reasonable. One note: it's cash only here, so make sure to hit the ATM before you roll up.
