Ruben is a great barber, very professional and friendly. He actually listens to your request and tries his best to match it to your expectations. He’s been cutting hair for a long time and knows what he’s doing. If you enjoy old school barber experience, this is the place for you.

Finding the right barber isn’t as easy as it seems, but this place makes it simple. One of the last true old-school barbers—quick, clean, and always on point. He takes care of you, knows his craft, and is always friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a no-nonsense, quality haircut!

Ruben is one of the last of the old school barbers I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to come across. He consistently delivers the perfect haircut, always taking the time to understand exactly what I want and paying meticulous attention to detail all the way down to the hot foam for my military skin fades. He’s not only skilled but also friendly and creates a great atmosphere in the shop, making every visit a great experience. I will keep recommending and encourage everyone to make their way “Sigfrido’s Barber Shop” and see for themselves. You won’t be disappointed!

Been coming here for a few years now. Old school barber shop with great service and clean cuts. They insist on no reused brushes between customers, they give hot shaves on the back of the neck, and they use witch hazel aftershave instead of alcohol. Great spot, great barbers, quick service, affordable prices (especially for this location). All you can ask for in a barbershop. Highly recommend.

Sigfrido's is the best, and Ruben is excellent. He is a tremendous barber. My father even waits until he visits New York so that he can get his hair cut at Sigfrido's. He is quick and efficient, the price is right and, most important of all, I leave looking great every single time. He knows what I want and gets it right every visit. The best part, though, is the straight razor shave which, for less than $30 before tip, is the best affordable luxury in NYC. You leave looking and feeling great -- like you could walk on air. I did not know that it could be so relaxing to have a razor up against your neck, but such is Ruben's power. If you want to book your haircut six months in advance from an Instagram ad and pay $400 for it with an American Express card, you can do that elsewhere in Manhattan. But if you want a consistently great haircut and shave from a real pro with no fuss and Sinatra on the radio, Ruben's your guy.

My favorite barber in LES! I moved here a few months ago and Ruben has been clearly the best barber I have seen, both in quality of hair and overall experience. Ruben is extremely kind and friendly and cares about his customers and their lives. The price is extremely fair and I have never had to wait longer than about 15 minutes! I would 100% recommend Sigfrido’s and I am now a regular!
