Excellent experience today! Nero did an amazing job on my haircut, very precise and professional. He really took his time to make sure everything looked perfect. Alex is super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Great atmosphere, clean space, and very fair pricing. Highly recommend!

Walk in and Alex the owner greeted me with a big smile. More importantly he listens to what I want and did a great job at a very reasonable price. Definitely will be back

Great atmosphere, hairdressers, and experience. I’ve had the pleasure meeting Nero and highly recommend him. He is able to cut and style your hair to your desired look. Very detailed oriented! Highly recommend Shantl & Co!

I’ve been going to this barbershop for years and it’s always a great experience. The barbers are friendly, super skilled, and always get it right. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, and they’re great with kids too, I bring my son here and they’re patient and awesome with him. Solid cuts every time and a place I always recommend.

Moved back to New York and needed to find a new barber, and they have done an amazing job. Everything from high and tight in the summer with a great fade, to reshaping my longer hair in the winter, I’ve been super happy. I primarily see Alex, but the others I’ve worked with have also been great.

This is a GREAT haircut place with devoted regulars and walking - - never have to wait long. I’ve had terrific haircuts with Esther and Alex, but it seems like everyone is talented. Staff are super friendly too

Greatest haircuts ever. Alex, Okayama, and Esther are amazing. When I’m out of town and have to get a haircut from another barber, I totally regret it. And even though I moved from the East Side to the Westside, I happily make the trip across town. Because Shanty & Co is the absolute best - I cannot recommend them highly enough!

New to the area, haven’t had luck with prior barbers in the city, gave Shantl a try based on the reviews, and it was worth it! Alex is great, knows his stuff! Gave me a really good haircut (I don’t get fades, just the good old scissors). Definitely recommend.
