Excellent barber shop ! Been going to Pepe, Frank, and Anthony for many years. Great guys and reliable cuts.

These guys are legit - I walked in and they did a double take (I’m a woman) but when I said I wanted to buzz my head they happily obliged. Anthony was my guy, but they were so welcoming that suddenly everyone was chatting and laughing. Thanks, fellas! Highly recommend - get yourself over to 26th st!

Improper scissor work. Yells at elderly customers. No sense of patience for older folk. Very amateur first chair. Just uses clippers with guard all over head and calls it a day. No tapering or layering. Very lazy , very mediocre. Go elsewhere for a 40$ haircut.

All the barbers here are first class. Multi-generational barbers like these give the best haircuts, as well as hospitality. It’s just like family here. I’ve been a loyal customer of Pepe’s for many years. He’s the best. Easy to get here, situated between Second and Third Avenues.

Edward is the best! Stylish, clean, quick haircuts. Availble all weekends and most weekdays. Good price and barbershop close to subway, bikes, buses. Can’t go wrong with Edward!

In 13 years in NYC I don't think there is a better barber than Pepe. He knows how to make me happy every time I go to him. My haircut is always perfect. The price is great and I can also wash my hair. I recommend all you men to come and try this experience with him.

I’ve been going to Pepe since I moved to NYC in 2016 starting at Astor Place. After Covid I got lazy and went to a place in Brooklyn where they never cut my hair like Pepe had. I heard he opened up his own place, and I’ve been coming since. He even remembered how I’d liked my hair after a couple years of not going to him! LTotally worth the trek from Brooklyn. Pepe and his team are the best!

Pepe is truly the best of the best. I started getting cut by Pepe 6 years ago at Astor place, and I am very happy to see his new location. The space is fantastic with huge windows and a welcoming atmosphere.

Pepe has been cutting my hair for years. First down at the Astor Place barber shop and now at his new place. He always does a great job. He is meticulous and detail oriented. I always look better after a haircut from Pepe. I’ve gotten lots of compliments whenever I’ve gotten a haircut from Pepe. And being a young man in New York City when I used to go to the bars I would get a lot of positive attention from women when I would go out with a fresh Pepe haircut. If you really want to look your best, and receive positive attention from people, get your haircut here from Pepe. I recommend finding a celebrity who has a haircut you like and showing it to him. This new place is great. It’s comfortable, relaxed, clean, much nicer than Astor Place Barber Shop.

Great cut! I have been going Pepe for years at Astor Place and was thrilled to go to his new place. My hair cut was amazing as usual and it was so much nicer sitting next to the window vs the basement of Astor. Unfortunately I will not be going back to Astor after 25+ years of loyalty.
