Never going back go in for a haircut they did a ok job but he said let me clean up the beard I said ok thinking the guy with trim the longer hairs but the damn near cut it all the way down and now my ahit look crazy and the haircut started at 35 then went to damn near 60 , horrible experience ,DONT GO HERE

Mark: The owner of this business is a professional hair stylist. It's not easy to find a barber who does such a wonderful job. And he's a regular down to earth individual. His business is succesful and he has many customers.

I have been coming here for 10 years and Mr. Mark never disappointed. I have to say, your first haircut will be alright. It is until you come again and again where he can master your favored cut. Overall I do recommend coming to this barber shop.

I used to live right by here and tried a bunch of barbers in the neighborhood. This is the best value for the price I have found, and have always had a consistent cut. I live downtown now where most barbers seem to be $40 for a basic cut with required appointments and inconsistent results, so now I actually travel all the way to the UES to get my hair cut here!

Great Barber Shop, I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a barber in the area. If you need a good quality haircut, by friendly & courtesy professionals, then you’ve found your place! No Appt necessary either…I go about once every 3 weeks, and each time I’ve been a walk-in. — The one & only caveat, which was my reason for 4/5 stars is because they close too early, (perhaps it’s due to the on-going pandemic, as many other local businesses close earlier than ever before these days). — So make sure you get there no later than 6:30pm EST, since they close at 7pm last I checked their hours around Thanksgiving timeframe.

I read great things here, so I had to try myself. I live just 3 blocks away. Stopped in around closing on a Wednesday evening, so there was no wait. Ariel cut my hair, and did a great job. Price ($20) is pretty good for this area. I'll be back.

I've been coming to Mr Lucky since before they moved to Lex. What's not to like about a great cut, complete with the hot towel treatment. The barbers are all pros and nice guys who enjoy soccer as it's always on the TV. You cannot go wrong here...

I have been going to see Mark for the last 10 years at both shops. It's easy to get tempted into going somewhere more local since I live in Westchester and not the Upper East Side. All I can say is that he cuts my hair so well and puts so much attention into it that I'm willing to travel every time I need a cut, even when I'm not in the city. He is friendly, the staff is friendly and it's really a relaxed environment. I don't see myself going anywhere else for the next decade....

All of the barbers are well-trained, talented and listen to how you want your hair cut. If you want the best haircut - or shave - of your life - Go here and ask for Mark. His name is in bright letters on the mirror - you can't miss him. He's the best! From shaves, to cuts, to fades to styling - Just ask for Mark! Hot towel shaves, hot shaving cream, clean, new and comfortable electronic buzzers and shavers. If you're trying to "get lucky" tonight or "get lucky" giving that sales pitch to your board - make sure "Mr. Lucky" fixes your head first! This shop is top-notch. Go and get a haircut already.
