It’s been many years since I’ve lived in nyc or even used a barber but Mike was by far the best barber or hairdresser I’ve ever had. Not only was he fast accurate and had great style but Mike was a good friend and funny guy. not sure if you remember me bro but was the insurance broker between 2016-2018. Much love. Go to Mike!

I got lucky finding this place looking online after work one afternoon at the Seaport. Very easy to find, and Mike is one of the nicest people who you could possibly meet. The facility is clean and neat with comfortable seats should you need to wait. Once seated, Mike had me done and out of there with a nicely clean haircut inside of 15 min. Even though I live in Brooklyn, I'll be sure to make my way to this downtown spot for all my haircuts in the future.

Mike was a great barber. I went to him 3 times this summer and each time he did exactly what I wanted in a timely manner. Would recommend to anyone that needs a new barber.

10/10 experience. Mike has an awesome personality and easy to have a conversation with. He speaks his mind in a respectful and interesting way without worrying about being politically correct all the time. Highly recommend going if you need a high quality cut at a reasonable price without waiting in a huge line. Great job!

Mike has been my barber for over 10 years. I recently moved to midtown, but Mike is still the only barber use. The experience is comparable to a high end spa. Mike has always catered to my schedule.

Mike is a great barber. He does a great job and really cares about his customers. I was in there recently when a woman came in with a young child wanting a haircut but didn't want to wait in line. She came back to find the line even longer and Mike was polite saying he cannot hold a spot because it's unfair to the other customers and especially during rush hour. She stormed out and cussed at him and it ate away at his conscience. Visibly upset, he said he hoped she'd come back the next day because he'd offer to cut the kid's hair for free just to rectify the situation. Not sure if she did but what a guy.

I'm there every 2 weeks for the last 5 years and happy with the result every time for a great price! people ask me where I get my haircut all the time. Michael is a great dude. We talk and laugh about everything. To the guy who mentioned something about homophobic comments, you didn't understand his humor for sure! I can guaranty he isn't! Highly recommended!

I’ve been going to Mike’s Barber Shop for about two years now and I’ve loved every haircut I’ve gotten from him. He’s one of a few people that can give me a real nice fade. He’s always got some entertainment on if you’re waiting but he’s a great conversationalist. Very funny guy. I’d recommend this barbershop for anyone looking for a great haircut at a good price.

Best barber in all of NYC. Prices here can't be beat. Mike is a legend himself and always strikes up some great conversation. You can tell he has a good group of regulars because I always see the same people when I go. Been going here for about two yesterday plus now and really couldn't be happier with the cuts I've gotten. Go right at 530pm to beat the after work rush
