Got my hair cut by Eugene. I thought it was fine but as soon as I got home my GF said it looked bad and trimmed some hairs from my forehead and back of my neck. She was right. Turns out I should wear my glasses to my hair cuts lol. Leaving a review bc the guy asked me to. He had a little NFC card that brought up the review page. Seems like this place has a lot of positive reviews not bc they are particularly good but bc they ask for them. Which is smart in a world where people make decisions based off google review numbers.

We moved to New York City about a year ago, and this has become my favorite barbershop. Sam has been incredible. They treat you like family and I always get a consistent haircut. Worth every penny

Eugene is the best! He’s very detailed without taking too long, and has a great memory when you come back again. I won’t be getting a haircut from anyone else in NYC if I can help it.

Eugene is a freaking rockstar. I came in just looking for a quick haircut and I got a fantastic new look along with thorough education on what I should be asking for so that I can get a similar cut anywhere I am regardless of a business or personal trip outside the city. Would highly highly recommend.

Very impressed with Manhattan Barbershop. They have been so warm and inviting, and incredibly, Sam has been able to do what no one else has been able to accomplish. Sam is able to properly give a haircut to my 13-year-old autistic, nonverbal child. He has been exceptionally patient and we are grateful to him. Absolutely recommend!

My second visit. Sam did an excellent and thorough job. Easy walk in experience and the shop accepts cards and tap to pay without any hassle like some other spots nearby. Very happy customer and will be back again soon.

Manhattan Barber Shop is the best! Wait times are never too long, and you’re always getting a great cut. I recommended them to a friend and he hasn’t gone anywhere else since! Eugene is also the man! I recommend him for men with medium-long hair especially.
