Came back to Ritchie! The last time I was here I had very long hair that needed to be all cut. I was nervous but it turned out great and better than expected even after months. It’s super short now. After that first experience with him I felt confident to come back. Still a great price, quick, and friendly atmosphere.

This morning I had my hair cut by Ritchie. Excellent service from the friendly atmosphere to the cut it self. My only regret is walking past this neighborhood spot all these years and not going in sooner.

I have been coming here for a well over a year now, and I have had Hector as my barber for far longer than that. This place is excellent. From the service, the friendliness, to the simple decor and open space of the barbershop itself. It's a nice hidden gem on 78th st., and I'm happy to call it my regular place of business for getting my hair cut just right. Hector, you're incredible man, and I will keep seeing you for years to come.

Good cut, good price and easy to book. I was shaggy and walking past Level 78 Barbershop so I decided to give it a chance. Richie the owner gave me a perfect cut! I've been back twice. The prices are the best I've seen in this neck of the UES. Definitely recommend. Hard to find a good and consistent barber.

Mr. Hector is wonderful. I had a fantastic experience with Hector! He really took the time to understand what I wanted, and gave me a haircut that I absolutely love. Not only is he skilled and precise, but he’s also incredibly thoughtful and attentive throughout the whole process. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time, checked in regularly, and gave great styling tips without ever being pushy. I could tell he genuinely cared about making sure I walked out happy with the result — and I definitely did. Highly recommend Hector if you're looking for a barber who combines talent with true kindness and professionalism.

I went here for the first time a month ago and Hector was friendly and kind and did a good job. I went again today and was NOT SATISFIED. Part of the haircut was a bit painful but I didn’t say anything in the moment. When I left, I wondered why I felt stinging on my forehead. When I got home, I looked closely in the mirror and saw these two cuts on my forehead. They are extremely noticeable and all I can hope is it heals up nicely. I will not be coming back. Please be careful with your customers next time.
