Literally the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. Hair was butchered and completely uneven. Hairline was crooked and just plain weird looking. I had to go to another barbershop to get it fixed so I’ll definitely be disputing thankgya. The haircut was 35 and charged me $40. He took a tip after refusing to fix my hair. Typical out of date untalented barbershops not wasting my money here.

Best barbershop in the neighborhood by far. Friendly, affordable and consistently great cuts every time. Have been seeing Faber for a few years and he goes the distance to make sure my cut is pristine.

Very good job at a good price. The barbers are respectful and they listen with attention what the customers want. I had a good experience with Johan who really took his time to make me look good and he kept asking if it was good or not. I highly recommend.

Jose’s Barbershop on the UWS is worth every trip — and I come from across the city to get my cut here. The staff is always friendly, and there’s a real sense of community in the shop. Jose is a family man who treats you like part of his own. You can tell he’s doing this to build something meaningful for his family, and I have a ton of respect for that. I’ve gotten haircuts from 3 or 4 of the barbers here, and they’re all excellent — experienced, professionally trained, and consistent. No matter who you sit with, you’re in great hands. Highly recommend.

I’ve been a customer for a few years and this is the best barbershop experience I’ve ever had. I actually wish I could give a higher rating for every time they’ve went above and beyond in service. The cut is $30.. you can’t beat that price for the quality of cut you get from ANY of the barbers at the shop. My barber, Faber, has taken every opportunity to craft the crispy fade I’ve gotten over the years — each time is somehow sharper than the last session. They also typically ask if you’d like beverage. Once again, this is $30!! I’ve come in on my good days and bad days, the shop never fails to put a smile on my face when I leave. I moved from manhattan to upper westchester and make a trip down every chance I get for the cut. Best way I can describe the shop: it feels like everyone working there is a family and you’re welcomed into a house with all your uncles and cousins. Truly a wellness center.
