I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Jay’s Barbershop. They charged $40 for a haircut and beard trim, but the result was terrible. My beard was cut way too short, uneven, and the fade was poorly done. My head was also not properly shaved. I expected a professional haircut, but I left feeling ripped off and frustrated. Definitely not recommended, especially at that price.

Not sure what’s the purpose of making an appointment if they just gon have you sit there for 20mins looking stupid… I be wanting to support my fellow black business Especially in MY community of Harlem….But the Nonexistence of customer service in here is Diabolical… As much time as I wasted luckily I got the opportunity to schedule another appointment with an even better shop up the block 😎🤞🏽 I Wish all you guys the best in becoming a more productive and more successful business, with a chance to outperform your competitors…

Jays is the best. The barbers are kind and really respect the customers . Their style of cutting is very chic.

My two sons and myself have been coming to Jay's barbershop for a few years now. Stan always hooked me up properly when I had a Loc Mohawk 🤩 He cuts my grown son's hair/beard. He does a Phenomenal job with my now 15 year old Autistic son's hair. He doesn't mind taking a few breaks, constantly blowing the hair off my son. He has so much patience. Now my son won't have anyone else cut his hair but Stan. Friendly staff will always come here.

DO NOT GO HERE! My partner decided to try this barbershop on 1/8/22. We have recently moved to Harlem and have been searching for barbers, restaurants, etc. My partner came home after getting his "cut" and to our horror, the barber had CUT one of his locks out accidentally. My partner has been growing his locks for over 2 years now. This is extremely disappointing and frustrating, as the barber did not show any remorse or humbleness for his error. Dreadlocks have a lot of symbolism for Black men, so the fact that this occured due to a careless barber is absolutely outrageous. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!

My bald fade was nearly even throughout without indication of a fade and looked uneven left to right. Also The barber accidentally touched up one of my dreads and it nearly cutoff, I had to get it re-twisted. Just a lazy effort from the barber.

A place where the best hair stylists show off their work of art and natural hair care products. This is where you find Diane at 145th St in Manhattan (Lenox & 7th Aves) and when you step out - hair is just fabulous! Take a look.
