Sam is great! Excellent haircut - Sam listens to you, really takes his time, and will remember you right away. He is very responsive so appointments are easy to schedule and very reliable so you never have to wait. Easy recommendation!

I showed Sam a picture of the haircut I wanted and he did just that. You can tell he is very skilled and confident in what he does. He is kind, funny, and genuine. My girlfriend and I both agree that it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had.

Sam is one of the best barbers in town! He will work with you to fit you into his schedule based on your availability, and always strives to keep you happy. He gives excellent cuts and is always consistent. I highly recommend coming here!

We were visiting New York and phoned up to see if Isaac's Barber Shop could see us at 9am the next day. Sam said he could do 9.15 and it was only when we arrived that we realised that he didn't really open until 9.30 - thanks so much for fitting us in early! He gave my son a great haircut. He quoted $25 on the phone but we ended up paying $35 because my son had a lot of hair cut very short. It took him 45 minutes so we didn't think that was unfair. Thanks Sam! My son loved getting a Manhattan haircut!

The neighborhood will miss Issac. His brother Sam has taken over the shop and I have to say he is better than most of the barbers in the neighborhood. He spends full 30 mins on a proper hair cut and goes about his trade diligently. He remembers what works on you and is very pleasant to deal with. Just make an appointment as he doesn't like rushing with his clients so you could end up waiting for a while without one.

I tried 6 or 7 different barbers in NYC before I found Sam. Haven't gone anywhere else in 3 years. I have thick curly hair which can be a challenge to cut evenly... Sam is very thorough and takes his time, always giving me a nice cut and me not worrying about having to go back for touch-ups. I have followed him to his new location. Highly recommended, tremendous value!

Issac’s brother Sam has been my barber for over 20 years. I have traveled to him from as far as NJ to Long Island when he worked there. He recently took over the barbershop after the unfortunate death of his brother. Sam is top notch, never rushes, spends equal time with each and every customer, and always gives a great haircut and quality shave. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation.

I had been getting my hair trimmed up at Isaacs since I first started school in the city in 2016, he always knew what to do from my confusing instructions and was always so pleasant to talk to. His brother, Sam, just gave me my first haircut since Isaac passed, we chatted about what a great person he was, and I'm happy to say Sam is just as amazing as Isaac was. A great family, a great haircut, definitely worth your time.

Awesome, authentic NYC barber shop! I called up & Isaac answered, letting me know they were available to cut my husband's hair. Arrived 15 mins later, to a wonderful little barbershop, just like you see in the movies. Isaac was confident, very nice, chatty, experienced and extremely skilled. He's a pro, and gave my husband the exact cut he wanted, in less than 15 mins. I literally cannot understand how anyone would leave a review less than 5*! This place is brilliant, don't believe anything negative! Definitely returning, Thank you :)
